COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a blend of two-row caramel malt and four types of domestic hops, Budweiser Black Crown is finished on a bed of Beechwood chips for a smooth, balanced taste. Incorporating the proprietary yeast directly descended from the original Budweiser yeast strain used by Adolphus Busch in 1876, Budweiser Black Crown retains the key characteristics of Budweiser with its clean taste and high drinkability. Featuring more body, color and hop character than the flagship lager, it also has a slightly higher alcohol content at 6% ABV.

Bottle: pours a very light amber color with a large white head. Aromas are what I expect, sweet corn with a slight earthiness. The flavor is not as boring as bud... But itís not what I wold call exciting either... Sweet corn and slight malt flavor. Tastes... "Fake"

Curiosity got the better of me, bottle from a 6-pack on sale. Poured into lager glass a yellow-ish amber color with white head disappearing into a lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, corn, hay and a faint fruitiness. Taste seems subdued compared to aroma (such as it is); minimal sweet malt with some caramel notes. Light body, high carbonation, easy drinking with no finish. I didnít taste any wood notes. For me this compares to a Yuengling Light with a slightly higher price point. Still better then Budís standard product. It gets an alright but far from something to seek.

Itís been a while since I tried a Budweiser product...good call on my part. I ctually like Bud Light a little. This isnít an awful brew and thatís about all I need to mention...

Super high quality rate at Miami Airport. The pourís light amber with a small head. The nose is apple, corn bread. A bit of caramel. General notes of cheap sweet apple candies. The taste is more of the same. Quite sickly sweet. Caramel-dipped apples and little else. Light body, loads of carbonation. Overall, this met my expectations. Poor

12 oz bottle given to me by my son so I would tick it. Nose is sweet caramel, corn, and a very faint hint of a vanilla/bubblegum (maybe from Beechwood chips?) Clear yellow orange with a small pale yellow head. Flavor is a sweet corny pale lager note with a hint of skunkiness.

Bottle. Medium head that stayed for a awhile. Clear honey amber color. Aroma of grains, hay, slight caramel, corn. Light sweetness. Light body. It is smooth as advertised. just enough taste and flavor to call this beer not terrible. Some caramel notes and slight grain and hops comprise this. Watery. Ok. Slight metallic taste.

Rated 3/24/13. Portion of a 12 oz bottle into a Hunahpuís snifter. Let me repeat that: Budweiser Black Crown was poured into a Hunahpuís snifter. From notes. A: Pours a light amber color, with a quickly fading white-shaded head. S: Sweet caramel, cotton candy, and a pleasant lack of adjunct. Not ígoodí, however itís really not an awful nose. T: Sadly, thereís a more notable adjunct presence on the flavor, followed by a bit of caramel...and a whole lot of nothing. Vintage Budweiser! M: It feels too thick and heavy on the palate given how flavorless it is. This should be easy to drink - and isnít. O: Better than BL Platinum, I suppose. Iíve had it once, I never need to have it again.

This tastes very much like malt liquor, pours with a dark brown/yellow color and nothing really much of note of this beer. it does have some caramel taste, but it is not that much better than drinking a olde english if you ask me!

Like a mutation between 80% regular Budweiser and 20% Steel Reserve. Tastes of water and carbonation on the way down. The aftertaste is light and pleasant. The extra alcohol is hidden well. It might just nudge out regular Budweiser and some other mass-produced beers.
