2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear light amber with minimal white head. Aroma of grains with a little caramel. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Caramel and light herbal hops. Light bodied with a thin texture. Kively carbonation but not much of a finish. Overall, not bad. I dont know how this one won the contest though.

a Budweiser with some more body, mouth feel, color and flavor. thicker and toasty sweet it includes some fresh malt at the finish. would it be a sacrilege if the twelve brewers got together and came up with something that had a noticeable hop character to it? seems so.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
This was nothing to write home about. Not much for hops or flavor. Definitely not as good as original old Budweiser.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
355mL at a bar in Gainesville, FL. Clear light amber. Good but soapy white head. No lace. Nose is soapy, chemical, lots of apple sauce. Taste is apple sauce, seltzer, paper, acid. Not good. Has some lemon acidity and mild caramel body. It’s not so bad.

I don’t know if surprised is the right word, but this wasn’t the worst beer in the world. If I had the option, I would drink this long before Bud Light or other similar beers. This actually tastes like something.

My friend made me try to guess this beer and I had a hard time. I knew it wasn’t an amber ale but it wasn’t a pale lager. Well, it was drinkable but not really anything great.

February 16, 2013 - bottle from AV3. Clear orangish pour with limited head that faded quickly and spotty lacing. Malty and yeast in the aroma and taste. Surprisingly better than expected.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Bottle - thanks Folty. Clear orange pour with minimal white head. Yeast and lager malt aroma. Simple and uninspired. Better than Bud heavy though.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours amber with thin white head. Bit of a corn aroma. Similar to Bud, maybe a little bit more body and a slight hop end. Nothing special but not bad. Not sure what the purpose of this was, do we need Bud with higher alcohol content?

Blech on top of blech. This is a clone of budwiser, just sweeter and stronger. Glad I didn’t pay for it. Don’t waste your money.
