The color of this beer is a shade or two darker than Budweiser. It heads well. The aroma is full of the beech wood. The malt is dominated by caramel malt, but is a bit thin. Little to no discernable hop characteristic. A smooth brew.

Has a nice malty and surprising smooth. The malt has a bit of caramel and inform tidally no hops. It's good for a distraction.

There is some substance to this beer. A slight oak taste and the malts are very rich for what they are. Not hoppy but tasty

1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Dark Lager? I’m not even sure I’d give it that much! Pours about like a budweiser maybe half a shade darker at best with a white head. Nose is funky, sweet malt but almost with some artificial notes as well? Strange. I get some banana character sneaking in there too. Palate is of cheap macro malt that is honestly kind of rough maybe that’s due to them cranking this up to 6%abv (they market the hell out of it being that too). Overall, just a waste of time I drain poured about the last third. Go ahead and try it because if you’re like me you know deep down that this beer is going to suck but you love trying new beers and there’s always that feeling of "I just gotta know" bugging you. Just know, that feeling you have about this beer sucking? Spot. On.

Tallahassee, Fl - Publix Supermarket - 12 oz bottle. Pours a sparkling medium golden with nice bubble action and a pillowy white head that leaves plenty of lacing. The love affair stops there. Aroma is that of sweet gumballs, some wet copper pennies. Flavor is artificially sweet with some corn syrup notes, a hint of wet paper, some green apples. Mouthfeel is sticky, but not in a good way. Reminds me of a refined malt liquor. Expected just a bit more considering the hype.

Panama City Beach, Fl - Carousel Market - 12 oz bottle. Sparkling medium copper pour, light off-white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is pretty much neutral, a hint of nuttiness. Flavor is mellow, with some light caramel notes, a bit of toffee sweetness. Mouthfeel has a nice stickiness to it. Decent.

12oz twist-off bottle. Light amber color, very thin ring. Super sweet aroma, some floral hops. Smells like sweet vomit... Tastes fruity, very sweet malts, residual corn sugars, distinctive Budweiser bitterness. Overall, its a heartier beer for these BL Platinum drinkers. (3590)

Flavor is dominated by fruity esters, some caramel malt, floral hops. It is crisp, with a malt sweetness. Leathery, floral hop flavor in the end. Finishes with a bit of a black pepper like tingle. Bottle from a Grocery Outlet. Pours light, clear amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is lightly yeasty with a suggestion of hop. Med minus body. Flavor is actually not too grainy, but it drops off to a bit papery. Hop is clearly present, but there’s not enough to make this interesting. Nifty label tho.

Bottle from a Grocery Outlet. Pours light amber gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of malt and mild/light spicy hop. Med body. Flavor is caramel/bready with noticeable noble hop - seems a bit spicy to me. It’s well balanced, maybe even bending to the dry side. Tastes pretty good, and it drinks quite nicely.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours clear amber with a short, off-white head.
Aroma of grain malt, corn.
Taste is malt, a little caramel, grain.
A bit watery and light.
Honestly, it’s pretty average....no big negatives...but nothing special either.
That being said, it IS waaaay better than a regular Bud.
I was prepared to be totally irritated by this, given the hype, but It’s ok....
At least they think they’re being crafty.....shhhh! Let’s just let them believe it.

pours clear, medium amber with a short, slightly off-white head.
Scent is caramel and malt.
Taste is caramel, corn, malt.
A slight spicyness....apple, maybe.
Over-sweet and under-balanced.....
Again, not that great, but still better than the flagship brew.
