12oz twist-off bottle. Light amber color, very thin ring. Super sweet aroma, some floral hops. Smells like sweet vomit... Tastes fruity, very sweet malts, residual corn sugars, distinctive Budweiser bitterness. Overall, its a heartier beer for these BL Platinum drinkers. (3590)

12oz twist-off bottle, mixed 12pk. Red Label. Pours clear, orange color. Thin white ring, some lace. Aroma of corn tortillas & fruity esters. Flavor is dominated by fruity esters, some caramel malt, floral hops. It is crisp, with a malt sweetness. Leathery, floral hop flavor in the end. Finishes with a bit of a black pepper like tingle. Overall, Its a Budweiser. Only more color. Keep trying, AB!

Bottle from a Grocery Outlet. Pours light, clear amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is lightly yeasty with a suggestion of hop. Med minus body. Flavor is actually not too grainy, but it drops off to a bit papery. Hop is clearly present, but thereís not enough to make this interesting. Nifty label tho.

Bottle from a Grocery Outlet. Pours light amber gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of malt and mild/light spicy hop. Med body. Flavor is caramel/bready with noticeable noble hop - seems a bit spicy to me. Itís well balanced, maybe even bending to the dry side. Tastes pretty good, and it drinks quite nicely.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours clear amber with a short, off-white head.
Aroma of grain malt, corn.
Taste is malt, a little caramel, grain.
A bit watery and light.
Honestly, itís pretty average....no big negatives...but nothing special either.
That being said, it IS waaaay better than a regular Bud.
I was prepared to be totally irritated by this, given the hype, but Itís ok....
At least they think theyíre being crafty.....shhhh! Letís just let them believe it.
Earlier Rating: 11/3/2012 Total Score: 2
pours clear, medium amber with a short, slightly off-white head.
Scent is caramel and malt.
Taste is caramel, corn, malt.
A slight spicyness....apple, maybe.
Over-sweet and under-balanced.....
Again, not that great, but still better than the flagship brew.

Bottle. Not bad. Between the other two Project 12s I tried. Light amber color. Ok flavor, ok aroma.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 31, 2013 Bottle as "Black Crown". Pours, smells and tastes like a Budweiser, with maybe a shade darker color (orange-gold), and a richer malt flavor. As always for AB, flawlessly made and clean. You could do worse. (#4930, 1/21/2013) <<>>Earlier Rating as Project Twelve LA: Bottle. Pours a beautiful shade of amber, topped with the characteristic Budweiser foam. Thereís a nice toasty aroma here, too. Good start. The drink is clean and without imperfection. Super sweet malt dominates, with a more toffee-topped character than your usual macro. (#4852, 12/9/2012)

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
2013 bottle to pint glass. Pours a crystal clear amber that looks like weak iced tea. Lots of carbonation bubbles. Aroma is banana and some malt. Taste is basically a weak malt. Mouthfeel is thin with lots of carbonation. The overall theme seems to be weak. Doesn't sea to be much different than their usual offerings. Inoffensive.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Wet hay sour aroma, green apple jolly rancher. Not unpleasant though. Light spicy hops
Pours brilliantly clear light amber color with small quickly disappearing head
Refreshing sweet malty caramel like flavor balanced with spicy hops
Medium full bodied with medium CO2 clean malty finish
Well the aroma leaves a lot to be desired. It is a beautiful beer. The flavor was well balanced and enjoyable. I like the heavier mouthfeel. Probably the best beer I have had with the name Budweiser on it

Bottle from Kroger. Weird earthy fruit nose and medium amber color. Smooth lighter mouthfeel. Malt taste is just a bit off and aftertaste is reminiscent of a cheap light beer. Not all that great and im surprised it won their brewmasters contest.

Bottle courtesy of my friend Noel! Aroma is sweet and malty with caramel notes, light fruit and bread. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, toasted grains and light fruit. Body is medium with a soft bubbly carbonation. Ends with more caramel, sweet malt, toasted grains and dark bread.
