COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a blend of two-row caramel malt and four types of domestic hops, Budweiser Black Crown is finished on a bed of Beechwood chips for a smooth, balanced taste. Incorporating the proprietary yeast directly descended from the original Budweiser yeast strain used by Adolphus Busch in 1876, Budweiser Black Crown retains the key characteristics of Budweiser with its clean taste and high drinkability. Featuring more body, color and hop character than the flagship lager, it also has a slightly higher alcohol content at 6% ABV.

Bottle. Pours a orangish color with white head. Sweet, malty, corn aromas. Malty, corn, caramel, macro brew flavors. Slightly better than a macro beer.

Black crown just has a bad taste. I guess if it’s all you have then it will do. Try something else

Bud’s "Brewmasters" didn’t deliver too much with their attempt at a more quality brew. Tasted like a heavier Bud, which is exactly what it is. Pretty lame, and sad that some people consider this quality.

My go-to macro beer, a safe restaurant default. My favorite in the budweiser family. A solid taste and full body with mild bitterness. The taste is bitter without being hoppy. Mixed bitter and malty taste is somewhat confusing, but at least gives the beer decent character for a macro. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

I was really hoping that this would be something delicious but it is just a sub par beer that is made for the masses.

Better than a Bud Light by a landslide, but still an American Lager and one that doesn’t come close to what I would consider "craft" beer. Just a step ahead of the typical Bud corny, grainy, watery qualities with a bit more smoothness and drinkability. Only drink after a really hot/sweaty outing or exercise.

Bottle date 31JAN13. Poured amber with a quick off-white head. Very subdue to nonexistent aroma and flavor. Light body and a hint of a malt aftertaste. Bud will always be bud no matter what they try.

Bottle at bobs. Dark clear gold. Grainy nose. Buttery palate. Pretty weak. Not good.

Bottle from Jessup plaza. Pours khaki with an Light brown foam. Not much on the nose except for a slight maltiness. Smooth on the tongue but not particularly flavorful. Very thin on the tongue I’m not sure Budweiser understands the whole craft beer thing.

12 oz from a six pack bought from a neighborhood mom and pop store. This has the best possible chance of getting good marks from me..just back from the beach..thirsty and very very hot..so here goes. Pours a slightly darker yellow colour but not much, head seems thicker and lasts longer than the usual Bud, Aroma, cardboard, bread and caramel, slight bourbon/wood. Not bad. Smooth malty, caramel, again the woody tones that remind me of bourbon.Slight grassy hop in the end. Palate is pretty good for the style and maker. Not a bad little lager really far better than regular Bud.
