Brew Masters’ Private Reserve is an exceptionally rich beer that is a symphony of character, featuring a balanced hop aroma with 8.5 percent alcohol by volume (ABV). Based on the time-honored Budweiser brewmaster holiday tradition of collecting the richest first part of the brew as it is tapped to the brew kettles to celebrate the season, this is the first time it is being made available to the public.

Smelled and tasted of light spices, over ripe fruit, very Begianesque. But there was also a malt liquor quality there, corn, sugar etc. Better than I thought it would be.

dark yellow with a huge white head. smell, is well, sugary corn syrup that has been watered down. a sip delivers powdred candy. a smooth alcohol presence. metallic taste to this, no scratch that, it is not metal, it is saccahrin. sappy mouthfeel something like turnips that are dirty lingers. highly biting hop like taste that isn’t very bitter, but this is not cloying at least. i’ll never have this again, but it was worth a shot.

It is absolutely ridiculous the amount of hyperbolic advertising that went into a package that contains so little to justify it. Orange/yellow spectrums for the body. The thick, malty palate, rich and dense, is the best thing happening here. The aroma and flavor, on the other hand, are nothing except for a bit of latex rubber (seriously). This is basically a malt liquor just without the crass sweetness that you get there. I have always assumed that the brewers at the Macros are pretty competent and like good beer, only that they’re suckered into jobs that pay well with benefits rather than going into their own business. But if this is what they produce when they put their best effort into it, I really begin to wonder. Maybe they’re just not very good brewers.

This beer is better than its smaller weaker little brother. This is a great rating. Lots of beerx qualities in this one. I dedicate this rating to people, who just like this beer, dress up pretty andr make themselves seem like they are so deep and important yet when it comes down to it, theya are just cheap and shallow and smell like alcohol. Man, this is way more than 75 characters.y

(Bottle) Pours an amber body with a moderate white head. Aroma of caramel malt and mild hops. Flavor of caramel, some apple, and then the awful bitter aftertaste sets in....

Bottle. Just plain awful. I really wanted to like this. It is easy to describe-it tastes like regular Budweiser with alot of artifical sweetner poured into it. Very sweet and cloying. Not good at all.

Pours golden with an orange hue, with almost no head. Aromas of dough kinda fruity. Flavor is sweet with a alcohol bit. Tastes like a malt liquor, this beer should have went in the Michelob Celebrate bottle and the Celebrate in this bitchin swing top bottle.

Who’d have thought that AB would try something like this with out including a paper bag.Might as well give it a chance who knows.Nice golden color, large white head that faded quickly leaving little behind. The aroma was somewhat fruity with a bit of maybe some corn some hops that are faint and a mild malty side. The flavor was not that great and was no where near good enough to command such a high price. Some what malty and sweet with a bit of citrus coming on in the middle some hops and a corny sweetness that gets kind of annoying. This is definatley nothing more then a high end ML that is only worth trying once for the experience and nothing more, and thats if the experience is worth having any way.

Bottled. Clear golden hue with subtle lingering white head. Mild hop and malt nose. Slightly musty, grainy. Slight citrus, yeast note. Light body. Rich malt flavor with bitter, yet mild, hop finish. Smooth, creamy flavor, but weak and watery.

2005 "Vintage". Gold color with no head. Corny aroma. Taste is smooth, but still of muddled grains. Why is this the brewmasters reserve? Isn’t he supposed to keep the best for himself? Oh... this is the best? Sucks to be him.
