2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(Bottle) Pours an amber body with a moderate white head. Aroma of caramel malt and mild hops. Flavor of caramel, some apple, and then the awful bitter aftertaste sets in....

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Just plain awful. I really wanted to like this. It is easy to describe-it tastes like regular Budweiser with alot of artifical sweetner poured into it. Very sweet and cloying. Not good at all.

Pours golden with an orange hue, with almost no head. Aromas of dough kinda fruity. Flavor is sweet with a alcohol bit. Tastes like a malt liquor, this beer should have went in the Michelob Celebrate bottle and the Celebrate in this bitchin swing top bottle.

Who’d have thought that AB would try something like this with out including a paper bag.Might as well give it a chance who knows.Nice golden color, large white head that faded quickly leaving little behind. The aroma was somewhat fruity with a bit of maybe some corn some hops that are faint and a mild malty side. The flavor was not that great and was no where near good enough to command such a high price. Some what malty and sweet with a bit of citrus coming on in the middle some hops and a corny sweetness that gets kind of annoying. This is definatley nothing more then a high end ML that is only worth trying once for the experience and nothing more, and thats if the experience is worth having any way.

Bottled. Clear golden hue with subtle lingering white head. Mild hop and malt nose. Slightly musty, grainy. Slight citrus, yeast note. Light body. Rich malt flavor with bitter, yet mild, hop finish. Smooth, creamy flavor, but weak and watery.

2005 "Vintage". Gold color with no head. Corny aroma. Taste is smooth, but still of muddled grains. Why is this the brewmasters reserve? Isn’t he supposed to keep the best for himself? Oh... this is the best? Sucks to be him.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Born on 10/6/05 - clear orange amber pour with a medium white head. Yeastly aroma, some banana hints, orange citrus, and cotton candy, oh yeah and corn malt. Malty sweet start, yeastly, weird bitterness in middle-finish. Poor finish. nasty aftertaste. Maybe its the hand selected hops that give this the weird bitterness. I thought abour cellaring this beer, but then I remembered that "fresh beer is better", so I guess that this is as good as it gets, which is not very.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Malt liquor in a fancy bottle. Ok, I’ll write more. Pours a just slighlty hazy golden color, small white head. Aroma of corn, and malt liquor. Flavor is malt liquor, cheap pastic, stale, malt liquor. Thank you John, for saving me the $12 I would of wasted on this one.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle, courtesy (?!) of JPDIPSO. Totally transparent copper with a fizzy white head. Burns the nostrils - cooking sherry, cornstarch, burlap, corn syrup, burlap and Vics Vapor Rub serving as a sinus elixir. Flavor brings home the grand champion of malt liquors, with decipherables consisting of corn husks, greasy jo-jos and rice chex. It’s been forever since I had a drain pour, but this definitely was deserving of its journey down the laundry room sink.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2008 Bottled. Sweet, lightly vegetative aroma, some corn and very lightly spicy hops apparent. Light-medium golden color with a billowy, subsiding head. Sweet and malty up front, seeing a bit more hop enter the picture before finishing with a blend of bland, grainy sweetness and alcohol. Full, almost syrupy body with ample carbonation. "Double Bud", this is. Thanks to Chris for the chance to sample it, though.
