“A lightly carbonated lager brewed with a touch of sweetness for a smooth, easy taste at 4% abv, Bud ’66′ is a winning concept. Inspired by the lengths our brewmasters go to create the perfect beer, we named it Budweiser Brew No. 66 after the winning recipe number that had the perfect balance of ingredients creating the taste we know consumers will love.”
Budweiser Brew No. 66 is a 4% alcohol by volume lager that is brewed and distributed in the United Kingdom by InBev UK Limited. Launched in July 2010, Budweiser 66 is the newest member of the Budweiser family of beers with 84 calories in a 300 ml serving (just over 10 oz).

Bottle at a house party in London. Pours clear, light gold with a fizzy, white head. Cereal grain aroma. I should note, this beer was served well below the optimal temperature, that ice-cold temperature whereby your senses are numbed by the coldness and the offensiveness of the beer is lessened. My senses were all too acute during this drinking. It tasted like artifically sweet cereal/malt water. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly sweet finish, basically no bitterness, some sweet bread, cereal, mild grain. Really not good. (I’ll rate this again if it ever pops up cold at another house party, but I sure ain’t gonna pay for it.)

(Bottled) Its ok after my customary 90 minute a day run , not as rice incrusted as their normal Bud; OK, enuff of this lowly liquid , back to the Lambics and Weizens.

A - Very pale yellow with absolutely no head at all. A couple of tiny bubbles rising to the surface too but not many.
S - Hardly any smell at all, mainly a very faint sweet smell but bland for the most part.
T - Very bland again for the most part although it finishes with a sugary, sweet kind of taste.
M - Very light bodied & smooth going down with very little carbonation.

D - This beer has absolutely no taste other than a very faint, sugar like finish & the fact that there was no head at all when I poured it suggests it should be avoided. It tastes so much like water than I wouldn’t even call it beer.

Bottle. Pale gold with a thin foam. Aromas are cereal with hints of lemon and caramel. Clean and without corn. Flavours are sweet grain and caramel with just hints of corn. Watery but not terrible.

300ml Morrisons - clear glass bottle.
Appearance Clear, very light straw. White gassy head.
Aroma Skunky.
Taste Sweet with skunk.
Palate Lower carbonation than standard Bud.
Overall I had it warm - ice cold it would be more tolerable, but I had to throw this away. It’s still a very poor, tasteless beer through.

Four pack of 33cl bottles purchased from my local Asda as recommended by MagicDave6. Now Tom and I share a love of easy drinking lager and this is without doubt easy to drink. Much better straight from the bottle from the freezer because if you pour it into a glass the faults start appearing. But I do like the low carbonation. So easy to swig. On a hot day to replace lost fluids this is perfect. There is even some light lemony hop to keep the tastebuds interested on the finish. Aroma of gray gas very light in the malts in the mouth good finish. I drank all 4 bottles with no problem.
