COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
“A lightly carbonated lager brewed with a touch of sweetness for a smooth, easy taste at 4% abv, Bud ’66′ is a winning concept. Inspired by the lengths our brewmasters go to create the perfect beer, we named it Budweiser Brew No. 66 after the winning recipe number that had the perfect balance of ingredients creating the taste we know consumers will love.”
Budweiser Brew No. 66 is a 4% alcohol by volume lager that is brewed and distributed in the United Kingdom by InBev UK Limited. Launched in July 2010, Budweiser 66 is the newest member of the Budweiser family of beers with 84 calories in a 300 ml serving (just over 10 oz).

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2010 "Brew No. 66", 4% ABV, brewed in the UK- assuming this is just a re-branding of the 4 targeted at the English drinker. Bottle poured reverentially into a tulip.. Vapid yellow with an ephemeral burn of fizz despite the ’low carbonation’ claims, a low head dissipating instantly- not a beer designed to be poured, or looked at. Or inhaled for that matter; aroma white flour, almond, solvent and matchbox ’strike pad’ (phosphorous). Flavour can’t fail to be an improvement on that: rubber, lime and dissolvable painkillers followed by a lingering basmati rice-type creaminess I don’t find unpleasant, and that fairly accurately mimics the flavour of malt. Refreshing- if you don’t look at it, sniff it or taste it.

Bottle at St. Pancrass station. Golden body with thin to medium head. Nose is corny, hops, some malts. Pretty basic taste of corn and malts. Not much to it. Watery texture. Sweet, dank and funky finish.

Bottle@Bulls Head, Ashby, Leicestershire. Pale golden beer with a light head. The aroma is gently bitter, the flavour is gently bitter with dryness. Overall better than I was expecting, some sweetness but enough dryness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(300ml Bottle) Was left at home after a house party so not purchased through choice. Taste and aroma of nothing at all really so can not thing of how to describe it, I just know I never want to see/taste it again as it does nothing for me.

Seems to be the chosen beer at a lot of festivals, seems a bit strange that you can’t find it in the shop or at bars/pubs.... probably because it’s just cheap sh*te that tastes like fox p*ss!

[330ml bottle, courtesy of cgarvieuk] Clear gold, thin lacing around the glass. Not much aroma – faint, slightly vegetal sweetness. Doesn’t really taste of much either – a sweet weakness. It’s pretty something when you long for the flavour of regular Budweiser. This is pitiful [20062012]

In bottle. Pours a very light blonde colour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, sugar and bready yeast. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and CO2 prickle and a foamy mouth-feel. Quite sweet overall.

Bottled. A golden beer with a disappearing off white head. Smells of sweetcorn water. Sweet, corny and sickly in the mouth with barely any depth of flavour. Even poorer than expected.
