Veeve (312), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA Apr 15, 2007 in bottle from Eulogy Belgian Tavern in Philadelphia. why my brother ordered a bottled beer when there were so many good beers on tap I don’t know, but he’s not a beer person so I guess I’ll excuse it. he lived in prague for awhile and says this was a favorite beer of his and many when he was there. sort of run of the mill beer but a bit amplified. pilsner. sort of smells like eggs. wheat. light hops. tastes peppery, eggey, light hops, grass, wheat. s’okay. I don’t think i’d order it again. too peppery for my taste and not complex enough. but its a drinkable beer.
Ole_R (1183), Oslo, Norway Aug 28, 2008 Bottle. Pure golden, low near-white head. Sweet bready malts and light fruity hops in the aroma. Well rounded flavors from refined malts and fresh, fruity and floral/grassy bittering hops. Light to medium body. Oily mouthfeel. Sweetish, light bitter finish. Well composed and balanced, high drinkability.
charlotte (1177), Vanlřse, Denmark Aug 28, 2008 Golden colour with medium white head.Aroma is sweet hoppy and mild has sometaste of hay.Body is medium/light and flavor is strong with dry finish. Borresteijn (509), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 26, 2008 50cl Bottle. A dry, hoppy and a bit sweet pilsener. Overall dry mouthfeel and quite strong flavours. Nice. MrAleman (38), guildford, Surrey, England Aug 24, 2008 This is a lovely lager, full of refreshing flavour and nice texture. Only downsides are that it isnt sold on tap enough and shares that name of budweiser with the rubbish American version. SpudClampDawg (919), Jasper, Indiana, USA Aug 18, 2008 12oz bottle: Solid gold pour with a frothy head and champagne like bubbles swirling throughout. Fantastically clean nose with an abundance of grassiness and honeyed malt. The malts are buttery and sweet on the tongue, balanced by a blast of pine needles and rind. Very drinkable, but packed with complexity.
