shintriad (639), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 3, 2008 Golden-orange, decent cloudy head, bit of apple and a soft bready nose. Minerally, not much hops, a bit of lingering vegetal sweetness in the finish. Green bottle in Ontario might not be the best way to experience. Not my preferred pils.
NosirIwont (795), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark Jul 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear yellow with a big white head. Sweetish hop aroma. Some citrus notes. Apple and alcohol notes as it warms. Flavour is a bit of hops with malt in the background, but nothing special. Mildly bitter finish. Pretty boring really. 04-07-08. the_chandler (164), West Virginia, USA Jul 2, 2008 Pours a pretty golden color, very little head. No noticeable aroma. Flavor is pretty standard for a premium pilsner. Nothing too out there. Nothing bad though. Pretty smooth. No real hop taste or malt taste, no real bitterness either. Ah well, overall pretty solid. Smooth and nice, both maltiness and hops, a very decent lager. But it is no match for the unfiltered version, which blows this away! afireinside96 (308), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 1, 2008 Green 12oz bottle served in a footed pilsener glass. Gold in color with a fluffy white head, very little carbonation is visible in the beer. Sweet, skunky aroma wafts from the glass, man I hate green bottles. Tastes of wet grain, saw dust, & herbal hops. Not bad but not nearly as good as I expected it to be. esox (71), Oulu, Finland Jun 29, 2008 Bottle. Clear yellow to orange. Medium head and nice lace. Fresh aroma with grassy hops and medium maltiness. OK fresh hops, though not very aromatic. Medium malty flavor is slightly buttery. The finish is medium bitter and has some caramel. Light to medium body and soft mouthfeel. The finish is quite pleasant and even lasts for a while. Overall a very clean pilsner that is pleasant to drink. Aromas could be richer and more complex.
