Pours a crystal clear gold, not too much head, but it leaves a nice lacing. Typical pilsner nose, great Saaz hop flavor. Nice pilsner.

Beautiful head. Very drinkable. If you take everything out of Anheiser-Busch Budweiser that isnt good and only left what was good this is what you would have.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had this as an opener at a local tasting and not bad for a green bottle. This one is excused...does not have that usual skunkiness that most of its predecessors do. A very nice golden pour, into a sparkling amber appearance. Just very smooth and easy to drink and would be the perfect session beer.

This is what a pilsner is supposeed to taste like. Some nice hops flavor with a malt back yet crisp and extremely drinkable. Nothing better on a hot day.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: SEP 28, 2003 green bottle, but of all evidence well protected contentup to Canada. Pours a clear golden body with a small white head that turns into a little white ring rapidly. Fine herbal hops aroma. Very good malt insistance, grassy, earthy, smooth and light bodied with a light and enjoyable hop bitterness finish. It's just extremely easy to drink and proposes an impressive balance.

Nice smoothness and balance. One of the more flavorful pilseners I've had. Refreshing, highly recommended.

I have had a few of these in bottled form. the fisrts two kind of let me down, but the third must have been fresh!
Totally balanced in my opinion. Straw in color higher carbonation and lace. Starts off slightly malty and this gives way to the Saaz hops(fisishes subtle hoppines)
Great beer if you can be assured of freshness.
