Pretty boring grainy, malty aroma with a hint of hops. Flavor is typical for the style. A style that I find myself steering away from more and more each day. rayOfBeer (318), El Cerrito, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2008 Poured from bottle a golden with small white head that fades quickly. Aroma was initially slightly spicy with yeast and hops, then sweet malt and grassy hay notes. Flavor is mild and round with lighty sweet malt, bread, and slightly tart grass and hay. There is a nice balance of light sweetness and mild bitterness that makes this one easy to drink as well as good company for food. tgncc (817), Bellmore, New York, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Earthy, grassy aroma, with some bready malt-like qualities thrown in. Crystal clear golden color, persistent white foam. The flavor is of malt sweetness, slight twinge of hops. The finish starts with a syrupy sweetness, and gives way quickly to a clean hiop bite. This is far from my favorite style, but this beer is good for what it is. shendrix (478), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 21, 2008 I don’t know which amuses me more, that anyone would fight over the name of such a crappy brew--pick either Budweiser, they both suck--or that this sad little brew could rack up a 66 percentile rating on ratebeer. It tastes like tap water with a touch of syrup, a bit of tin, and a few random notes of lawn clippings. Lovely. zborgerd (185), Mchenry, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 10, 2008 Quality, golden pilsener, but still a bit lacking to Urquell.
Pours nicely, golden color. Nicely balanced between the malt and saaz, but finished a bit on the bitter side. I think that Urquell manages to be a bit more bold without the "rubbery" aftertaste of this one.
Slighly on the fizzy side. Still, quite enjoyable in spite of the finish. Perhaps I have a pack that’s a bit less fresh than the Urquell I am used to drinking. Overall, this is a bit of an easier drinkr than Pilsener Urquell... It just finishes a bit strangely and leaves a significant aftertaste. Otherwise, no complaints. Reelingsilk (22), Netherlands

Pours a bright golden colour with a light white head. Aroma of bready, malts, caramel and light fruit/ Flavour is predominantly malty and grassy hops. Light bodied pilsener. Very drinkable and very refreshing. Flamojune (93), Ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada
