| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 22, 2008 Pours a medium gold color with quickly dissapating head. Smell is yeasty, lightly malty and nothing too noteable. Taste is very yeasty with crisp maltiness and is slightly refreshing, save the heavy yeasty component. Decent, but not one of my favorite pilsners, nor worthy of being world famous... puboflyons (602), New Hampshire, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 21, 2008 From a green 355 ml. North American released bottle with a listed expiration date of 02.11.09. I don’t see the words "Budweiser Budvar" anywhere on the label. Pours a golden yellow with almost no head. The aroma of fresh malts is evident and pleasing. Very enticing. Medium mouthfeel. Malts and barley in the taste But I am struck by how fresh it tastes altogether. It has a dry aftertaste. Is this really the recipe that Augustus Busch I "borrowed" in the 1800’s to brew Budweiser in America? If so, he got it wrong. Gmoney (254), ManchVegas, New Hampshire, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 17, 2008 99% sure I have the right rating. Green bottle labeled as Czechvar 5% abv. Clear yellow with a slight white head that disappears. Slight green bottle skunk in the nose otherwise, typical pilsener nose of light malts and a small hop nose. Smooth on the tongue into a slight bittering finish. I think this could be much better if it were fresh or in a brown bottle. But as it is, a good, easy to find pilsener. scrizzz (1269), kirkland, Washington, USA
