Jul 7, 2007 I tried this beer on June 26, 2007 after purchasing from my local LCBO store. It poured a beautiful golden translucent colour. The aroma was a nice grainy aroma that screamed ’drink me!’ It is smooth and crisp on the tongue with small hints of carbonation. The favour is crisp and clean with hints of grain. I will definitely try this again.

Jul 4, 2007 best pilsner i ever had. really intense flavor (for a pilsner even greater for a lager). tangy and bitter but without a tingly bite. nice malt tang in the back of the tongue. interesting aroma is quite fruity under the circumstances. and $1.99 for a 25 oz! light lemon grassy? interesting woodish burp (i highly doubt that it is beechwood...ooorrrr iiss it? nice.

Jul 3, 2007 Lovely gold appearance, minimal head. Lacing sticks around the edges. Aroma is hard to detec. Taste is malts, then yeast, and some bitter hops at the end. Carbonation is light and works perfectly. This is a very well-balanced beer, and well-made. No complaints!

Jul 2, 2007 Bottle: Pours bright gold in color with a strong white head. SMell is a bit lemony. Taste is crisp, with a bit of a buttery feel, but also soft. There is just a hint of hop in the aftertaste. As I continue to drink, the taste gets more and more bitter, very interesting. Tastes a bit dry as well.

Jun 26, 2007 Bottle purchased in Cork, IRE. Didn’t have a best by date or anything but the aroma seems very fresh, crisp, and with the pale malts shining through. Gold body with a nice white head. Taste is clean, faint hop content, probably the ultimate lawn mower beer.

Jun 25, 2007 It was cisp and clean until the dirty aftertaste. A refreshing beer that would be much better if it finished cleaner. I am a little confused about the Budweiser connection. Guess I’ll read up, but with another brand.
