35 cl. bouteille. Aroma of spicy/floral hop. Kind of spicy anyway. Orange tinged golden color with a white head that quickly departed. Full bodied. Starts with some biscuity malt, but mostly hop. It’s more maltily flavorful than Urquell, but it’s not quite so crisp. This is good with spicy food. A worthy finish to the evening.

Bouteille.

Finally get to try a somewhat fresh bottle of this. 12oz, Best before 11/2007. Pours a crstyal clear pale yellow with a one finger bone white head, fading to a thick ring after a minute or two. Aroma of spicy, grassy hops, a fafir amount of biscuits and grain. Immediately upon opening there was a bti of skunk, but this seems to have passed. Flavor doesn’t seem to be terribly high hopped, and the sweet malts and grain become more apparent, as the spicy grassiness fade out more than I would’ve liked. There is some light wet paper in there as well, and a minimal bitterness. Low carbonation with a light to medium body. I was slightly disappointed with this, though I would favor it over the US Budweiser any day. A refreshing summer brew.

This is not how I remember this beer. The one I’m having now must be slightly skunked, and the flavor is not as crisp as I was expecting. It’s also a bit watery and limp. Normally, this is a great berr, but not this time. Hmmm. It’s still heaps better than Bud/Miller/Coors. [12 oz. bottle, BevMo]

Golden color with a nice white head. Aromas of hops and malt. Palate of malt, little bit sweet. and with a good bitterness. One of the best pilsens that I tried.

Prauge-07. Nothing special, a standard pilsner with golden colour, high carbonation, and crisp hops.

Must be about a 500ml bottle (no volume on bottle.) Name on label Czechvar, Premium Czech Lager. Poured golden with a quickly dissipating head. Lightly hopped aroma. There were notes of floral hops and light malt with a touch of sweetness. I’m not really getting much of anything here. Very pale, very weak taste. Not much better than an American Pale lager.
