Yellow color. Bottle. Exceptional pilsner, with small off white head. light better taste of hops... with a light hoppy smell. Better than pilsner urquell

Bottle. 5%. Clear yellowy-gold colour, fairly carbonated, small white foam. Best pilsener I’ve tasted to date, but I obviously lack understanding in the fascination surrounding. Hoppy-malty taste with a hint of sweetness, leaving a bitter feel.

(Draught) Golden and clear. Medium sized and quite quickly disappearing white head. Grass and ligtly butter in aroma. Quite light and dry palate with quite high carbonation. Lightly malts, grass, bitterness, lightly sweetness and fruitiness in taste. Bitterness and grass in aftertaste.

500mL bottle, BB 11/5/2010 (seriously?.. that’s a bit exaggerated). Poured clear straw golden with a nice cap of white head. The aroma picked up toasted bready pils malts balanced well against grainy character and spicy lemon zest.. fresh and well-presented. The flavor had a base of bready malts, grains, and a faint pinch of corn holding up lemon zest, earth, and something akin to oak.. finished tangy and refreshing. Light-ish bodied, crisp, and well-balanced on the palate.. moderate and rolling carbonation moved it well.. again a refreshing finish. This is between great and excellent when fresh.

On special at my local, 375ml bottle. Poured light yellow, transparent, little head with hardly any retention. Aroma of mostly straw and some hops with a tiny bit of skunk. Taste is light but still distinctive, straw, wheat and corn, light mouthfeel, very crisp and goes down smoothly. Finish is similar, very grainy and quite refreshing. Highly sessionable, have sunk 6 in a row very quickly. A decent example of a pilsner, fits the mould well. Would drink this often if it wasn’t so expensive in Australia.

Wow Ican;t believe that I hadn’t rate it so far even though i drink it quite often. It’s usually me 2nd option for pilsner when I don’t find the Urqell. Crisp and highly drinkable with q moderate bitter finish.
