Czechvar version. A - Pours a brilliantly clear golden brass color with 1 1.5 finger white head that melts into nothing. S - Sweet grain, apple, mild grassy hops, clean yeast. T - Sweet malt, corn, mild dry grass hops, a touch of lemon on the sides of the tongue. M - Low carbonation, slick, flat finish. Not sure how old this is. Overall less than expected. The low carbonation and finish was a let down. I would love to try this on tap in Prague. Serving type: bottle 09-09-2011

UPDATED: APR 26, 2016 From Hipercor. In Teku glass. Watching Vikings 4x07. Feels much more refreshing and clean than the pilsner urquell, both in aroma and taste. Tasted just after a pilsner urquell, for comparing.

Blind test of (mostly) swiss lagers. Golden color with foam ring. Very shy nose. Strongish, yet watery malty body. Standard aftertaste.

Clear gold color with nice but not strongest white foam. Aromas sweet malt, green peas, cabage and cucamber (strange I know but it does smell fresh of greens in a nicer way). Palate, medium body with with not too watery texture either. leaving very light sweet malty and again that green fresh aftertaste. Taste is on the sweet side of light malt, green peas or very light and more dusty hops. Overall, surprised! Can not complain for a lager type it is very good lager. Not my favourite beer but not pee water either. If you like lager style beers give it a shot. (definatly not same budweiser as american one that one is pure pee water)

Golden crisp colour. Clean texture. Has white head that dissapears immediately, which is very disappointing. Visually unappealing. Not as much carbonation as i expected, but pleasant tasting. Smooth and medium body. Medium texture. Pleasant not overbearing after taste that lasts.

W aromacie słodowość, trochę chmielu. Barwa złocista, kiepska piana. Goryczka jak na jasnego lagera całkiem przyzwoita.

Pint at R.F.D. Washington. Well I finally had it - it’d been years and years and I finally had real Budweiser. Actually, I was quite happy with the results here, I expected a skunky, grassy mess with little or no flavor to the actual beer. This is a crisp, clean lager. Light grassy notes, crisp lagered notes. I can’t guarantee that this experience will ever be duplicated.

Golden colour. Light aroma, fresh hoppy taste, floral, balanced between bitterness and sweetness. Very good beer for summer.

Light, fresh and malty aroma. Fresh and light arrival followed by a distinctive bitterness that remains for quite some time. The mouth-feel is rather thin and watery though. Lighter carbonation than average in my opinion. Not extraordinary by any means, but still a good solid pilsner that goes down very easily in any situation.
