a little bit dissapointing for me. i was expecting it to be more like urquell. very drinkable though and much better than the equivilant priced imports. very balanced flavour, no so bitter, and light malt flavour.

500 ml bottle. Golden color and small dissapearing head. Grassy ans maltiness taste. It’s little watery but in a good way. Very easy to drink. I really liked it, not as black version of Budvar beer but this is also very good.

Poured from a bottle, Japan. Minimal, white head. Slight aroma. Pours a light-gold yellow. Clear, with some fizz. Not a strongly flavored beer, it’s sweet and sour, with not much left on the palate. A pleasant, refreshing beer, not really my style, though. Not a bad beer, and pretty enjoyable for a pilsner.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2012 500ml can. Pours with medium, sudsy head. Dissipates quickly. Thin lace. Deep gold beer (Lovibond 5). Smells slightly cidery. Tastes, oddly, dusty. Even the palate is extremely dry. Fairly balanced between sweetness and hopsy bitterness. Just OK.

Funnily enough I’ve never tried this from a bottle. On my trip to Prague I drank several from the tap, in beautiful taverns and I have to say this is one of my favourite pilsner beers, and I must admit it’s not my favourite style of beer. It’s not worth it going into details... Just an extraordinary beer.
