Because the pilsners are so perishable, and because I’ve not been to the source, the style remains slightly beyond reach to me. But I love the subtle differences between the classic (available) styles. Budvar emphasizes a gentle, full malt. The hops are floral on the nose and peppery on the palate, but play a secondary role. The finish is wonderfully crisp, accent on the malt.

Brilliant straw color. White 2 finger head, dead in 2 minutes. Poor legs and low activity. Very faint sharp aromas and flavors of corn, stinky saaz, and citrus. Light body with prickly carbonation, faint but long, slightly dry, smoky bitter finish. Overall : A Tasteless and bland craft with some basic freshness.

500 ml bottle poured at home. Pours yellow with a decent white head; little lacing. Smells like cheap beer. This is quite carbonated and has a grassy, corn taste. I was worried when I got it that it would taste like a skunky eurolager and I was on the mark. I’ll drink it but I won’t really enjoy it.

Bottle - Clear golden colour with medium sized white head, average retention and lacing. Aroma of hay, some bread, some grassy and flowery hops. Tate is malty, some biscuit, herbal and flowery hops. Medium body, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Good, but it doesnt have the magic.

Whats happening to Budweiser? What kind of crappy name is "B:Original" anyway? This used to be a perfect Lager, its still a good one, but somehow they’re on a downhill road.

Gyllengul öl med vitt skum. Doft av gräs, hö och lätt maltighet. Detsamma i smaken. Bättre än en industrilager men inget som utmärker sig.

On tap in Arizona, light grassy and malty. Not sweet but the malts are grainy. Thin but highly drinkable.I’m split here, I enjoyed it but it was too thin for a good czech pils.
