4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Because the pilsners are so perishable, and because I’ve not been to the source, the style remains slightly beyond reach to me. But I love the subtle differences between the classic (available) styles. Budvar emphasizes a gentle, full malt. The hops are floral on the nose and peppery on the palate, but play a secondary role. The finish is wonderfully crisp, accent on the malt.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (16/07/2015) - pours golden yellow with a white head. Aroma and taste is grassy and grainy, straw, hay, crisp and light on the palate, medium to light in body, with a clean crisp bitter finish.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
The beer has a typical pilsener appearance. The beer has a pale yellow color and little foam. The smell has some barley, together with a tiny roast aroma. The taste is nice. It has a little tropical sourness, caused by the hops. The beer is very tasteful. There is a nice bitterness and a little alcohol touch. Nice.

4.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a deeper golden bronze than the USA knock off. Head is white that leaves some lacing and quickly dissipates. Nose is dominated by the malt. Tate has a touch of sweetness - ever so little. It’s followed by the earthiness of the malt and hops. Mouthfeel is good with a medium light body. It is far better than the USA knock off. 11.2 oz bottle

330 ml bottle @ 5.0%. A fine well balanced Lager that is not too sweet and has great mouth feel. Hard to put down with the grassy hops.

.5l from refrigerated bottle. Pretty tasty. Refreshing and crisp. Lightly malty, a hint of bitterness. Clean, overall, without too much taste.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
One of the best pilseners I have tasted in a long time, little in bitterness but strong in carbon dioxide. Sweet taste and taste for more. Nice after bite.

Bottle. Golden-yellow colored with some orange. Clear and sparkling with a white frothy head. Hoppy smell, fruity with floral notes, hints of grapes and some bready malts. Pleasantly medium bitter balanced by light sweetness. Flavor is fruity and floral as well. Body is light to medium with high carbonation. Well balanced and harmonic in aroma and taste with a nice bitter finish and pleasantly light but long aftertaste.
