OleR (2007), Oslo, Norway Nov 2, 2009 From keg@Masné Krámy, České Budějovice. A dense, creamy two-finger head resting on a bright, shiny golden body. Malty aroma, yet clean and dry, with some metal notes and a fine scent of grassy and hayish hops. Taste is slightly sweet, refined malty, with a certain rawness and a touch of cellar. Some subdued fruit tones and a very fine, earthy and grassy hop bitterness all the way. Only traces of yeast in this ’yeast-beer’. Very filling, and super drinkability. A treat. swooper (418), Kladno, Czech Republic Sep 29, 2009 draught in Masný krámy in Budweiss, malt aroma, golden, clear, rocky head, white foam, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, average carbonation, slick feel, good beer TheGrandMaster (1845), Auckland, New Zealand Aug 10, 2009 Draught in Ceske Budejovice. A clear gold with a large foamy white head. A light yeasty malt aroma. A very clean malt palate with a mild sweetness.
gunnar (486), Sandnes, Norway Jul 17, 2009 On tap at Budvarka, Litomerice, Czech Republic.
Pours clear golden with a big creamy white head.
Nose of light hops, yeast, maybe some grapefruit as well. Taste is first and foremost butterscotch, low bitterness Kurametla (2), Czech Republic does not count Feb 19, 2009 !!! People, this beer is not available in bottles, you can have it only in 4 pubs in Czech rep. - 1 in Prague (Budvarka), and 3 in České Budějovice (Budvar Brewery, Budvarka and Masné krámy). And this beer "kroužkovaný" lager is fantastic. If you write about beer in bottle, you write about another beer!!! SeanMacGC (233), Dublin, Ireland Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden, with short-living white head. Malt, hop and slightly citrus nose, and hops and yeast on the palate. Fresh mouthfeel, with moderate carbonation, and overall a smooth lager. SkyCop32 (286), Morlautern, Germany Oct 25, 2008 Thispours clear golden with a small white head. This is a little bready with a smooth after tatse, almost creamy. MiP (8792), Sřnderborg, Denmark Sep 9, 2008 Draught, 5% at GBBF08. Clear golden colour, small white head. Bready flavour, a little soapy. Good mouthfeel. Probably not the right thing to drink after a lambiek.
