COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prémiový tmavý ležák doplňuje tradiční nabídku piva z pivovaru Budějovický Budvar, n. p. od roku 2004. Je vyroben stejným postupem jako originální světlý ležák, za použití nejvybranějšího žateckého chmele, moravského sladu, vody čerpané ze 300 m hlubokých artéských studní a tří druhů speciálních barevných ječných sladů: mnichovského, karamelového a praženého.

Charakterizuje jej výrazně tmavá barva, suchá, jemně hořká karamelová chuť bez dominance sladkosti. Vůně je delikátní po praženém sladu.

Drank in astronomical quantities during Brutal Assault Festival 2016. Definitely my favorite one in the Budvar: B family. I found myself in love with czech dark beers so that’s probably why, but this is clearly a interesting beer. Smooth but always present taste of coffee, chocolate and a delicate head that pleases every sense. Very refreshing overall, i really recommend this one to any dark beer amateur. APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW!

Pours dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is malts, metal, something sour, basil, eggs, some cream. Taste is metal, smoked and grilled bread, a bit over burnt pork, some oil, copper, steel. Metallic after taste. Drinkable.

Hyvin tummanruskea olut tiiviillä, beigellä vaahdolla, joka häipyy vähitellen. Tuoksussa karamellisuutta. Sopivasti hiilihappoinen. Maussa makeista maltautta, hieman kahvia. Lyhyehkö, hieman katkera jälkimaku. Ei vetinen suutuntuma. Varsin mainio tumma lager Tsekeistä.

Bottle. Color: Very dark brown, almosr black. Light brown head. Taste: Bittersweet, roasted malts. Hints of chocolate, coffee. Not as watery as most of the other Czech dark beers and that’s definitely a plus for this beer.

33 cl bottle served in red wine glass. Pours blackest bright black with greyish foamy head. Aroma is dark berries: blackberry, bilberry. Also cola nut and espresso coffee. Taste is fresh, slightly sour, not noticeably bitter. Abrupt finish. Nice simple one.

Barwa ciemnobrązowa, z przebłyskami, piana w kolorze złamanej bieli, dość obfita, ale niezbyt trwała. W aromacie słodowość, lekki DMS się niestety pojawia, lekka paloność. W smaku dość wytrawne, palone, nieco kawowe, ciemne słody, goryczka średnia nawet minimalnie w kierunku wysokiej, palona. Treść i wysycenie w normie, dobra pijalność. Nawet niezłe, bardziej przypomina jednak Szwarzbiera. Gdyby nie dość słaby aromat, byłoby nieźle, tak jest przeciętnie z plusem.
