3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing, dark brown colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, grainy aroma, cautious hints of sweet dark malt, grassy hoppy overtones, a cautious spicy touch of lovage. Taste is dry dark malty, subtle dark malty sweetness, some malt-spiciness, grassy hoppy overtones, a touch of hay, some grain. Not to sweet, the otherwise typical malt lozenge sweetness is kept at bay by integrated hop notes with hints of grass and hay; sadly a grainy touch adulterates the result by evoking a brummagem effect.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can, 50cl. Pours deep brown towards black with a foamy, creamy beige head. The roasted, slight burnt malty nose is everywhere. Syrupy, light ash, along with light milk chocolate, weak coffee, nuts and toffee. Creamy and inviting. Flavour is... where is it? Light sweet with the expected roasted malt character, black berries and dried fruits, caramel and chocolate/coffee notes, albeit very weak. Ends with bit dry and with a pleasant bitterness. Smooth, soft carbonated and drinkable, but too watery, thin bodied to fulfill its potential. Too bad - deserves better.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
50cl can. As good as a bottle. Pours pitch black with porter-like head. Creamy, smooth, velvety and silky. Pleasant carbonation. Slightly sweet. Loads of charred malt, caramel and some coco hints. I prefer it served at 8degC. Usually, when shopping, I forget how good it is, and get some other dunkels. This is actually almost perfect.

Surprisongly outstanding beer. It’s very simple: water, malt, hops. Nothing specific like spices or mix of hops varieties. Just beer. And it’s very quality beer. Roasted malt is everywhere: from the nose to the aftertaste on your tongue. This beer is also suitable for refreshing during hot summer day.
The only thing i regret about this beer - haven’t tried with my best friend sinfull :(
Now he is ocean across from me so this mission seems to be impossible
