Prémiový tmavý ležák doplňuje tradiční nabídku piva z pivovaru Budějovický Budvar, n. p. od roku 2004. Je vyroben stejným postupem jako originální světlý ležák, za použití nejvybranějšího žateckého chmele, moravského sladu, vody čerpané ze 300 m hlubokých artéských studní a tří druhů speciálních barevných ječných sladů: mnichovského, karamelového a praženého.

Charakterizuje jej výrazně tmavá barva, suchá, jemně hořká karamelová chuť bez dominance sladkosti. Vůně je delikátní po praženém sladu.

Good example of the commercial dark beer but in Czech Republic we have much better tmave pivo

Bottle. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Medium toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium dark sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. This beer met my expectations.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- bottled 7/31/15 - Clear dark ruby brown color, beige head that drops to a solid cover, stringers of lace. Aroma of light malt. Taste is heavy dark malt that adds a tongue-tingling burst of carbonation on the swallow, then moving to a lightly hopped finish. Heavy and one-dimensional, making me wonder if it is past it’s "best by" date.

From Hipercor. In Ikea’s pilsner glass. After dinner. Pleasant in all aspects. I only miss a bit more "punch" to consider it excellent.

Intensywny aromat kawowy, lekko palony, dosyć przyjemny. Kolor ciemnobrunatny, klarowne. Piana beżowa, wysoka, średniopęcherzykowa, szybko opada do cienkiej warstwy, delikatnie zdobi szkło. W smaku wytrawne, palona kawa, słodowe. Niska, popiołowa goryczka i wysokie wysycenie. Można wypić lekko schłodzone w upalny dzień.
