0.5L bottle. Usual caramel hop aroma, very delicate smoke shines. Taste is sour smoked and cooked vegetables with little caramel. Finish is stupid bitter herbs water. Waterly finish spoils it all. Nothing special.

Musty, metallic aroma. Maybe a little oxidized. Deep black color with ruby highlights if held to the light. Taste is slightly flowery which might make this a little out of style for a Schwarzbier or Munich dunkel style. But nonetheless a pretty good beer in its own right. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Malt, sweet sugar, mild berries and The flavour is sweet malt, mild roasted notes, hoppy bitterness and some berries. This was a surprise. Can from Tesco, Hungary. Dark brown color, medium beige head. Strong aroma of raosted malt, coffee and caramel. Taste is medium-strong, earthy, dark, sweet and bitter enough. Not bad.

R8 Ok ok I like this type of thing, it’s dirty and grimy, beautiful and soulful, despite being made in an industrial shithole kinda like a Czech prostitute. Hey a good metaphor! I had 3 500ml bottles last night, been ages since I had this beer. Always liked it. In a 2 pint jug it’s head is creamy and beige, above dark brown. It looks fine. Flavours of milk chocolate malts.roasted malt coffee, rich and dry palate is winning formula. A damn good finale.

Backlog. Tried on tap at Green Lion Inn. While the pilsners from the large Czech breweries often bore me the dark ones still hold their ground. This is a worthwhile try although it’s not quite as good as for example the Primator.

One of my personal favourites. Often in supermarket multi buy offers, well worth grabbing a few when it is!
