Bottled. A very elegant dark malty lezak with an invincible "duncan-macleodish" head. Delicious caramel and roasty notes too...

500ml bottle. Deep brown color with thick burned head. Aroma is toasted bread and malts, some brown sugar sweetness and fruit. I can feel some of bitter chocolade. It’s very smooth with sharp finish. Medium body and drinkable. Very solid dark lager.

Bottle. Dark brown, almost black colour with small light brown head, that goes into lace quickly. Aroma of chocolate, cookies, caramel, dark fruits. Taste is light sweet with honey notes and it turns into moderate bitter aftertaste.

500ml bottle. Deep mahogany body with a big mocha head, small bubbles and good retention, but not much lacing. Aroma is hoppy, some burned caramel, coffee and vanilla. Flavour of lots of coffee, malt bitterness and yes, hops. No sweetness and low carbonation. Good, but was expecting more.

Brown 500ml bottle, best before Jan 2008, serve cold. Drank March 2007, served cold. Poured three times into my Budweiser Budvar tulip style tasting glass, which only holds 0.2 litres. Very dark maroon in colour with a full biege head. Held up to the light, it is sparkling and clear. Caramel and roasted, almost burnt malts fill the nose fairly well, boiled mushrooms too. The burnt malts from the aroma are to be found in the taste too, with the caramel also adding to the taste. Watery and fairly weak in the mouth, no great aftertaste. This is an OK beer, not one I will rush out and find again, but drinkable.

Farblich ist es sehr dunkelbraun, die Schaumkrone hält leider nur mittelmäßig, Es riecht intensiv lakritzig-süß und kaffeeartig und schmeckt schön röstig und etwas kaffeeartig, dabei ist es sehr süffig. Sehr leckeres Bier das einem Stout ähnelt und für den Alltag geeignet ist. Das werde ich mir in Zukunft häufiger holen. Wieder eine schöne Kreation von Budweiser! 0,5l bottle. Dark brown, almost black color. Medium beige head, disappears quickly. Roasted malts, smoke, caramel in aroma. Dry, bitter smoky taste. Dry smoky ending, lasts.

Deep dark brown colour wih medium beige head. Aroma is roasted. Flavour is roasted, caramel, sweet, bitter aftertaste.

Bottle in Budapest restaurant. Black cola with light tan head. Sweet, roast malt nose. Dry, sweet malt body, plenty of flavor in a relatively mild package. medium carb. pretty tasty.

Much better than expected, nice body and strength. Plenty of caramel, burnt sugar and a little bitterness. Good brew.

Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt and chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
