COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prémiový tmavý ležák doplňuje tradiční nabídku piva z pivovaru Budějovický Budvar, n. p. od roku 2004. Je vyroben stejným postupem jako originální světlý ležák, za použití nejvybranějšího žateckého chmele, moravského sladu, vody čerpané ze 300 m hlubokých artéských studní a tří druhů speciálních barevných ječných sladů: mnichovského, karamelového a praženého.

Charakterizuje jej výrazně tmavá barva, suchá, jemně hořká karamelová chuť bez dominance sladkosti. Vůně je delikátní po praženém sladu.

a) Schöne schwarz-rötliche Farbe, beiger Schaum.

b) Thanks to ThirstyBird for sharing. Smooth malty nose, nice malty roasty start. The mainpart is nice roasted, very dry, nice malty bitter. On the tongue remains a nice malty dry aroma with hints of liquorice and roasted malt.

APPEARANCE: very dark brown color with ruby highlights. translucent. medium tanned head with below average retention. TASTE: roasted flavour with some faint coffe notes. low bitterness and a clean lager profile. finishes semi-dry. no hop flavours. PALATE: light body with moderate carbonation. OVERALL: a dark lager that lacks some bitterness and body.
