bottle from Herkku Stockmann, Helsinki!
Pours deep brown and ruby red with a small head. Smells malty roasty with lots of caramel and chocolate. Starts bitter malty roasty, with lots of coffee and burnt malts. Middle part is also malty bitter and roasty, paired with some dark chocolate. Goes into a chocolatey finish with some burnt malts and roasted coffee.

Surprisongly outstanding beer. It’s very simple: water, malt, hops. Nothing specific like spices or mix of hops varieties. Just beer. And it’s very quality beer. Roasted malt is everywhere: from the nose to the aftertaste on your tongue. This beer is also suitable for refreshing during hot summer day. The only thing i regret about this beer - haven’t tried with my best friend sinfull :( Now he is ocean across from me so this mission seems to be impossible

Pours dark brown with small tan head. Aroma of mild coffee, bit of nuts, some chocolate, but pretty light aroma. Taste is a bit sweetish. Dry aftertaste. It used to be better.

0,5L can, BB 01.08.14. Pours very dark ruby-black with tan head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is rather weak caramel, malt, and roast. Taste is sweet, roast, malt, smoke, tobacco, caramel and some faint metallic notes. Finish is smoke and some bitterness. Overall: body is a little bit too watery and aroma isn’t that great, but otherwise it is one of my favorite dark lagers.

Deep redbrown/black, clear, thin light brown head leaves foggy island on top, lacing is dense and long but not sticking to sides. Malty aroma has syrupy bread, light ash, milk chocolate, mild coffee, starts sweet but dries. Very dry malty flavor, light body, bit watery feel, low carbonation, long malty finish. Bit watery but ok.
