Budweiser Chelada

24 oz can: Pours a weird looking cloudy orangish/amber color with a medium sized white head that diminishes into nothing. Aroma is bloody Mary mix and a little bit a grainy scent. Taste is salty, tomato, and a bit of a strange taste to it. Palate is tomato, salty, and rather strange for a beer to say the least. Overall, I kind of get the idea what Budweiser was going for. It just amazes me that they make this stuff rather than trying to make quality craft beer. Oh well...It’s Budweiser. I’m sorry after trying to drink the rest of this can. Drain pour! Cheers!

Ok, I tried this after I tried Bud Light Chelada. I suppose this one is for those who drank the light version and thought "Well, I’m lovin’ the tomato and clam and salt and lime, but couldn’t they make it a bit more Budweisery?" Cause, y’know, this is more Budweisery.

I’ll give this one points for originality and then take away some for ripping off Michelada. Pours red orange like tomato juice. Is tomato juice. Smells like tomato juice. Taste like tomato juice, clams, and you get that raunchy feeling on the roof of your mouth that most bad beer gives you. In any event, the best feature of this novelty is that the tomato drowns out the taste of the Bud.

I can’t quite wrap my brain around this beer. It’s just fizzy clamato juice. And it’s bad. And why am I still drinking it?

This is, quite frankly, bizarre. I both like it an hate it. There’s no real beer flavor here. Budweiser is pretty bland to start with and the Clamato is far from bland. It’s a little too salty and the clam juice is a bit offputting for a drink in my opinion, but there’s nothing foul here. There’s a surprising burn that builds the more you drink. The appearance is like pink grapefruit juice. This would be good in a soup.

CHELADA IS THE PERFECT ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE!! FOR THOSE BLOODY MARY AND BEER LOVERS OF AMERICA, YOU NEED TO TRY THIS MOST PERFECT PALATE PLEASER!! CAN’T WAIT ’TIL I CAN FIND IT AROUND LOUISIANA IS LESS THAN A PINT CAN. I FEEL SOMEWHAT OBLIGATED TO FINISH WHAT I START!! LOL!! ENJOY!

Can from Party Source, Ky. Poured a red color with a minimal white head that diminished quickly and did not have any lacing. Moderate spicy tomato aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate spicy tomato flavor with medium spicy finish of moderate to short duration. Not much difference between Light and Budweiser.
