I can’t quite wrap my brain around this beer. It’s just fizzy clamato juice. And it’s bad. And why am I still drinking it?

This is, quite frankly, bizarre. I both like it an hate it. There’s no real beer flavor here. Budweiser is pretty bland to start with and the Clamato is far from bland. It’s a little too salty and the clam juice is a bit offputting for a drink in my opinion, but there’s nothing foul here. There’s a surprising burn that builds the more you drink. The appearance is like pink grapefruit juice. This would be good in a soup.

Can from Party Source, Ky. Poured a red color with a minimal white head that diminished quickly and did not have any lacing. Moderate spicy tomato aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate spicy tomato flavor with medium spicy finish of moderate to short duration. Not much difference between Light and Budweiser.

Gave this one a shot to keep an open mind...won’t make that mistake again. I tried it while watching Gordon Ramsey toss his cookies on ’Hell’s Kitchen’ and I almost joined him. Smells like tomato paste tastes like...yeesh! Salty and not much else. This could actually be a good combination with a beer big enough to stand up to all the fixins but Bud (or any pale lager) just vanishes. To paraphrase the late Douglas Adams this tastes "almost but not quite completely unlike beer". I could rant all day but I can’t put it any better than Nimrod did below: a catastrophe of a beer.

This is a move to cash in on the michelada (sp) a Mexican beer and clamato drink. In the right place at the right time with the right food and the right mixture, this is a nice mixed drink but in a can and from bud, I’m not so sure. Tasted like tomato juice that was slighly carbonated and I mean slightly. When you add some soy cauce - yes soy - pepper, salsa and lime it can be OK but it is hard to rate this as a beer because it isn’t - it is a badly canned mixed drink. Yuck. It is better than Bud straight though - right?

General66 thought it would be a good idea for us to try this. Poured like V8, smelled like fruit punch, vomit, and V8. The combination of fish, tomato, and there was beer right? was too much to handle. This deserves a rating for the experience of all of us trying this catastrophe. Thanks Bobby.

OH MY LORD. I tried to imagine what this would taste like, but I didn’t think it could have possibly been this bad. Strange reddish pink color, cloudy. Head dissipates rapidly. No lacing other than some gunk that coats the side of the glass. Vile, revolting tomato aroma. The aroma is so rancid I really had to work the courage up to take a single sip. Oh man this stuff is bad. This brings back memories of the first time I had Sam Adams Triple Bock. However, I don’t think my opinion will change in the next 3 years. Worst ever.
