I bought a can of this out at Avila Beach, Port San Luis Harbor, enjoyed it a lot, so much I went back and bought 2 more. However, I will say for those of you that aren’t Red Beer fans, you may not like, I however grew up drinking all sorts of Red beers (tomato juice of some sort or another mixed and added to beer) sometimes with tobasco, so I found this to be a nice change from just adding a v-8, I will buy this again.

When I saw this beer in the window of a convenience store, I thought it was a joke. I thought what the hell, tried one, and realized that I was correct. But the joke was on me.
Disgusting.

I actually didnt hate this beer. But to be honest it would be better served in a small glass next to OJ and coffee while dining on some eggs. Not much beer flavor and a whole lot of clamatoe juice.

Big can. Very red with lots of pulp. Not much head. Aromas were actually not bad if you like tomatos. Tomato aromas with just touches of beer. Flavor took on a whole new persona. Beer flavors with lots of bloody mary flavors. Pretty spicy too. Interesting, but not good.

I had this at a Dodger game last night. It was VERY good. I paid $12 for it because it was at the game. I make these at home all the time and it tasted better than mine. I want to know where I can buy them. PERFECT 10!

Can-sampled at MCAS Miramar Marine Mart: Pale redish pink color with barely any foam. Smells like watered down tomato juice. Taste like bud watered down with tomato juice and a hint of lime. Light bodied and watery with moderate carbonation. Nothing really offensive, but this isn’t beer.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2009 Can. How this passed quality control, I don’t know. Nonetheless, pours red and carbonated with an aroma of lemony tomato juice. Smells like retarded baby diaper vomit piss.Tastes like tomato juice poured into a Budweiser with a touch of lime in the background. Bizare and uneeded.

Being from north texas theres not a person around who hasn’t had a red draw or red beer, and this is a bit clamato strong and a bit salty but it does beat the hell out of what the idiot bar tenders in texas who have never actually drank a red beer mix you up. 9 out of 10 times i have to send it back and have them bring me the clamato and salt so i can make it right. all in all its a good beer to start off a night of drinking you can hardly taster the horrible Budweiser which has to be my favorite thing about this drink.

I was really the first IDIOT TO DRINK THIS, that other dude was the FIRST IDIOT TO TAKE HIS TIME TO ENTER IT AS A NEW BEER.
Im rating this from a 1 month old memory, and if you have a problem with that, you can much bite me as there’s not much to remember and I aint drinking this shit again.
So...I’ve spent some time in Mexico..especially in Mexico City where Micheladas are very popular...a nice cold Mexican beer poured over lime juice, ice, salt, and some hot sauce...one of the most refreshing drinks known to man...
This "Chelada" is a freakin’ trainwreck. For starters, it uses Budweiser as the base beer...only mexican beer works, the hardness of the water of mexican beer makes the difference, if you think shit lagers are all the same, your palate is unexperienced, go back to work...
Second mistake...the quantaties are skewed...too much of this, not enough of that...I can’t remember the specifics, but suffice it to say...it was too "this" and not enough "That".
However...it appears that it is the first beer to conquear this drink commercially, and for that, I give them a prop. no props...just a prop.
