Can... It’s basically a Red Eye made with Clamato instead of straight tomato juice. I like to drink Red Eyes when I tailgate and cheap pale lager is all that’s available. I would have scored this one higher if it didn’t have the shelfish juice and other spices in there. I like my Red Eye with straight-up tomato juice.

Can from Party Source, Ky. Poured a red color with a minimal white head that diminished quickly and did not have any lacing. Moderate spicy tomato aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate spicy tomato flavor with medium spicy finish of moderate to short duration. Not much difference between Light and Budweiser.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2012 24oz can, shotgunned. fizzy and rough carbonation combines with the saltiness and tomato / lime, so it’s actually pretty easy to quaff, or put down your throat in mass quantities some other way. flavor-wise it’s mild sweetened tomato juice, carbonated like soda. it’s not offensive or disgusting as some people make it out to be. certainly better than the chelada-style Rock Ice LIMON from Costa Rica. pinkish color gets a five because it looked like blood in my sink the morning after.

This one is indistinguishable from the Bud Light version, with the extra point for the spicy tomato flavor in both taste and overall categories.

Whoever invented this style of drink should be in jail. One of the worst things you could ever drink...EVER.

24oz can. Poured a spooky reddish-orange with a quick-setting whitish head. The aroma picked up salty tomato juice, a bit of pale malt.. when it warmed from ice cold, some vomit emerged. The flavor was not any better.. tomato juice, basil, and salt left a nasty old pizza impression on an exceptionally long finish.. clam juice made it seem like old anchovy pizza.. no redeeming qualities. Light-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. absolutely terrible.. like drinking somebody’s hork after they drank bloody marys and ate stinky old fish.

Bud and clam juice, eh its interesting to say that. I dont think i could drink the whole bottle but then again i wouldnt drink a whole can of clam juice. Eh i’d skip out on this one again.

Things like this remind me of the ingenuity of the Japanese people. The convenience and novelty of the idea is brilliant. Unfortunately, being a big American company, the delivery is a bit missing. Clamato? Why not V8? Are we Canadian? I like gin and tonic in a can, I like whiskey and water in a can. I don’t like crappy rice beer with clamato in a can. I do love an occasional red beer, but these two gems joined at the hip are not either of the ingredients I use.

By the Great God Pan -- This is Nasty Shit!!!!! Perhaps oddly to many of you, I like Clamato, but the "aroma" of this concoction makes it seem as if someone thinned the juice out by peeing into it. It looks horrible, as though someone threw some dirt into a glass of pink lemonade. Way too carbonated, in my opinion, but that’s to be expected from the Bud. The flavor is of watered Clamato and the addition of some lime and salt. Horrendous. It rarely happens to me, but this beverage is both by my rating and physical action a Drain Pour.

22 oz can from Kroger. Tried this for novelty value only. Pours pink, purely pink, with a massive head and no retention. Aroma and taste are similar, and as far as describing them.... let’s just say there was a lot of gagging. Definitely not lacking on flavor, but this is one Budweiser should be.
