4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
I absolutely love this beer. We were traveling on the Cali west coast and AZ, NM and TX and bought a bunch in TX to bring home. I hope that I will be able to find it in FL.
I use to drink a lot more than I have in the last 5 years. However I could have this every day. It is so REFRESHING. Only one problem it is way to big. I need a smaller can. I get too full and waste it and I am even drinking the Budlight version.
viva la chelada!

Clamato in the States ?? Why am I finding this here in the land of bloody Mary, and not in Canada where Caesars are made with this awesome clam-tomato concoction ? I have always loved mixing Clamato juice and older beers (some outdated) together. As much as I am not s Bud fan, this is pretty decent. In Vegas. Cloudy red with a fizzy head. Looks like it should, watered-down tomato juice. Spicy pepper nose with some tomato notes and hints of celery. Watery taste, but still decent tomatoes. Not enough clam though. I donít mind this for a beer mix.

Can, 24oz. It pours a murky reddish brown body with a minimal sized off-white head. The aroma is pretty awful I think, with tomato, tex-mex fastfood and lime. Spiced, salty flavor with lots of tomato. Full body, soft carbonation and some spicy burn. Rather awful, could never finish a can of it. 131101

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2013 Can from El Cerrito. Pink, hazy pour with no head. Salty as hell. Chef Boyardee Spaghetti-Oís aroma. Crappy tomato, metal, tuna, clam, and celery. Fishy, watery flavor. Crappy canned tomato, tuna, metal, and clam juice. Really damn salty.

I'm sampling this on the tour in Ft. Collins. With each drink I feel the redneck coming through. I feel what seems to be a mullet growing in the back and I'm getting the urge to hit my dog.

Artificial orange color when poured, last couple ounces thick & red. Opaque, vaguely unpleasant looking. Had a V-8 smell, spicy and skunky. Tasted like horrible V-8 gone wrong. Sweet and salty. Palate was Rotten old tomatoes, chili-powder, gross mouth-feel: Thick/Filmy. The scariest thing about it was that it tasted just a bit better than a regular Budweiser. Part of a blind taste test.

Serious Review Time as this is unfortunately coming to alberta. 3 oz sample from ABI guy. Kind of a ketchuppy red colour with a bubbly white head. Aroma is canned tomato paste and tabasco. Taste is dominated by a super carbonated peppery wasteland devoid of anything palatable. Absolutely putrid.

Big can poured into pint glass. Pink color with white head. Aroma of light canned tomato sauce, salt, clams and the slightest bit of spice. Taste is cold salty tomato juice with clam flavoring. Light body, heavy carbonation with a aftertaste that wonít die. Wow after one sip I was done. Guess I donít like Chelada, so I donít like this. The first beer I will never drink again.

24 oz. can. Pours a fizzy, minimal, very short lived off white head, over a light red (SRM 15) cloudy body.....nose is tomato....taste is tomato, clam, light salt, lime, with a light chile heat.....mouth feel is light, carbonation makes a fizzy sensation. This is to beer, as 7-UP is to beer. That is to say unrelated. This concoction, thought of as something to have on a hot Utah day, is quite pleasant. So are iced tea and lemonade. To call this a beer, well, no. It is a cocktail. Rating as a beer not as a beverage. BJCP 4/1/8/3/3
