2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Description could work if the brewer knew what the fuck he was doing. Why do brewers insist on getting super fancy when they fail miserably at the basic styles? Perfect example of trying to run before you know how to crawl.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance is light amber in color supporting a thin dissipating head leaving nill lace. Smell is faint, grainy and slightly hoppy. Taste has a maltly graininess a hint of the oak with vanilla in the end. Mouthfeel is light with a good spike of carbonation.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle to shaker. Part of the bottle lip broke off inside the cap when I opened this using a standard bottle opener. Neck of the bottle is broken where it was once complete. I carefully poured this through a sieve and left any potential "glass dregs" in the bottle. I think this is safe to drink. Light golden amber pour with a lasting bright white head. No lace. Sweet grains, sugar cane, and more than a touch of grassy hops make up the aroma. Pleasant fragrance. Taste starts off sweet caramel with vegetal hop bitterness, a short splash of bourbon, copper, and then the familiar Budweiser finish. The caramel malt reminds me of the Budweiser Amber Ale which I thought was pretty good the time I had it. The finish on this one is bringing me down because it tastes like regular Budweiser which gives me a headache. Medium-thin palate, but above average creaminess for a lager. Tick.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was faint with a sour and malty presence that was a bit tangy and had a hint of toffee. The flavor was tangy and sweet bread, honey, toffee and sugar syrup - though all a bit faint. Medium length muddled sweet finish. Moderately full bodied. Eh.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a dark golden orange appearance with a big foamy, off white head. Creamy, a bit corny, lemon, light vanilla aroma. A bit tangy, a bit strong, fairly smooth woody, grainy, pale malty, vanilla flavor. Not a ton from the oak (nothing bourbon that I can detect) but a pretty decent brew. I can see myself getting WBW on this in Iowa City.

bottle thanks to cheap! Amber pour, white thick head, aroma of bready malts, medium sweetness, light body. I liked the malt taste, good for what it is, clean crisp lager. thin feel, lively, overall decent brew.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz bottle from Wilbur’s. Light golden-amber and clear with a fluffy white head. The aroma is malty with sweet vanilla and a light woody character. Light body with a smooth soft feel. Kind of bland grainy flavor with light vanilla and a sweet finish. It was OK, not too bad for AB.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a very clear copper with fair khaki head retention. Nose and flavor really remind me of a watered down dopplebock upon first glance. However, the initial perception of plum quickly gives way to vanilla.. Lots of clean vanilla. Very much like the sweet vanilla notes from bourbon, but without the alcohol bite for balance. It comes off as just a bit to sweet. Still, pretty tasty.
