Very disappointed in overall taste, but appearance and smell were pleasant. Almost a white bread aroma with a subtle hint of fruit. The right of amount of proper hops were lacking to give it optimum balance. Overall, I call it a smooth malt liquor at best.

Sour hay and green apple aroma. Smells like bud light
Pours brilliantly clear light golden color with lasting white head
Sweet bready flavor with light spicy hops in background.
Medium bodied with medium high co2 sweet lingering finish
My least favorite of the Budweiser batch series. Needs more hops. It is very sweet and some more noble hops might really help balance this beer out

Disappointing start. Wanted a spicy noble hop nose and got nothing at all. The beer is almost odorless, and I’m a bit stymied. At most it smells like a slice of white bread. The label was correct with the color, deep gold. Head faded fast in the fluted pilsner glass. Malts are sweet and grainy, there’s a bit of hop bitterness at the finish, a little spicy leafy somewhere in the flavor, but its barely present, just enough to keep this from tasting like a malt liquor, which is basically what the malts come through like. Yes, its feels like a slightly cleaner version of a malt liquor, with slightly more hops to boot. Finishable but otherwise a real let down.

Bottle courtesy of my friend Noel - thanks! Aroma is fruity and sweet with bread, toasted malt and light grass. Taste is sweet malt, toasted grains, light fruit, light grass and dough. Body is medium with a soft creamy carbonation. Ends with more dough, sweet malt, toasted grains and light grass.

Least favorite of the three. Really not a true pilsener. Didnt have much of anything and just tasted like regular skunky swag.

This pours a clear, light amber color with a fast diminishing head. There is a slight grain scent. The taste is crisp, clean, and refreshing. Its taste is fairly simple that leaves a slight grainy after taste with some hints of lemon zest.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 cheap (3374) - Cheap Lager in Western, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 11, 2013
You can tell that bud put a lot of effort into trying not to insult anybody with these special brew.Yes, easy to drink but a little sharper than the 23185 which was sharper than the 91406 so I guess this makes it the one with the most personality. Never over the top on all three. Just a simple pale yellow beer with a nice creamy head, all three of these had creamy heads. OK all gone and not bad. Never sharp or nasty like so many astringent craft brew pilsner wanna bees.

12oz bottle. I don’t know why you’d want to make a 6% Pilsener. Pale, soulless orange-tan. Odd snaky carbonation bubbles. Thin, oily head. Dulled malt aroma, not offensive, not enticing. Really fails to capture the zest and crispness of a Pils. Too sweet and malty, makes you wonder what they were thinking. Better than regular Budweiser, but had some corny factory action going on for sure. Bullshit.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ronaldtheriot (780) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JAN 10, 2013
Budweiser Batch No. 63118 has a thick, creamy, off-white head, lot of thin lacing left on the glass, a clear, reddish-gold appearance, and a good amount of streaming bubbles in the beer. The aroma is subdued, but one can detect light, sweet grains and fruit (think of apricot). The taste is also very fruity (one wonders if fruit is not, in fact, added to the beer), with white bread crust, sweet grain, light brown sugar, and a slight hop bite at the end. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Budweiser Batch No. 63118 finishes crisp, refreshing, and not too dry. Drinkability is high with this one, and not much alcohol is detected, except in the back of the throat after a few sips. Overall, this is another interesting offering from InBev. RJT
