Going back to college days, this was the better beer we had at some of the parties (for select guests and hosts). Still cheap enough to make it worth buying for a contrast to the crappy kegs for the masses. Still a macro lager that’s American, and most of them are all the same. Simple flavor and aroma, taste a little above the rest of the American lagers.

After a while it gets tiring rating all the horrible beers from my early drinking years. Another skunky smelling beer with few redeeming qualities other than its sharp looking black and red can. It’s better than bud light, and it has more alcohol and fewer calories so for a cheap bbq beer its not too terrible.

Tastes like every other macro lager. I’m not sure what makes this select, besides maybe it wasn’t tossed around baked in the sun after it was bottled. To advertise that it’s low in calories and carbohydrates proves that the flavor is a direct product of the cheap/ minimal ingredients.
Don’t get me wrong, I love low calorie items, but it’s not why I drink beer.

Very clear gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma is very light, almost non existant. Flavor is similar with trace rice, corn, barley and drying hops. So faint, this is like seltzer water with barley. Drank six 16 oz. aluminum bottles of this at the Hard Rock Casino Pool in Las Vegas, NV.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 Bradrcr (809) - Renton, Washington, USA - JUL 1, 2008
7/1/08 From the bottle. Aroma is a blend of sour pils malt and light metallic noble hops, simple and not too inviting. Appearance is clear yellow with a medium maintained white head. Flavor is very simple and similar to aroma, with low sweetness and moderate bittering. Mouthfeel is low bodied with a strong carb texture. Overall, this is just not sweet enough, and also needs more complexity.

a typical american brew with alot of water added. way too overpriced. split an 18 pack with my cousin and didnt feel a thing. just a beer that you can drink all day. if your worried about carbs go with natural. a girly beer.

Eh, sometimes it amazes me how these big macro breweries can get away with basically rebottling the same beer in different bottles and selling it as something different. This beer is almost indistinguishable from bud light. Tastes maybe a little better. Anyways it isnt worth your time or money so dont waste either on this beer.
