Sampled from the bottle. The color is a clear gold, with a very small white head. It’s aroma is mostly hops, a bit of adjuncts, corny and grainy hops, basically no hops. The flavor is mostly sour, with some bitterness; not sweet at all. Not bad on the palate, some decent fizzyness, but fairly light and smooth. I think I may actually prefer regular Bud to this beer, but I wonder if there is even a difference.

This is not as harsh a bud, and its usually a little cheaper. Good hot summer day brew.

On tap at the Cards game. Poured clear bright golden with rising carbonation plus a dusting and a ring of white head. There wasn’t much to the aroma.. light, sweet pale malts and a tuft of wheat. Flavor was of dry pale malts and some mild light fruits at the core if you really strain.. very light floral bitterness.. watery on the back-end.. the epitome of non-offensive. Light-bodied and watery on the palate.. too crisp and clean.. left a dry, grainy bitterness on the finish.

Bottle with "born on" date of 24 Jul 07. I am treating this one no differently than any of the other beers I sample. No foregone conclusions! Pours yellow with a lively carbonation that contines through the session. Smells clean and fresh but no aroma of hops or malts that I can make out. Light mouth feel. Rather watery and a beer that makes me burp after just one sip! Goes down fast. Better than Budweiser regular. $4.99 a six pack in my area.

"Select", yeah right. I had one and had a hard time drinking it. Too expensive and not appealing to drink.

Bottle. Amazed that Budweiser could taste any worse but it’s possible. Watery taste.

Budweiser made even worse. No real taste beyond a sweetness and water. Not good.
