Translucent gold, thin white head, watery amd filmy with high carbonation.

Aroma: corn alcohol.

Taste: sweet rice and corn residue, public restroom air freshener, and carbonic acid.

12oz bottle. Pours like any megabrewed light lager - clear, pale yellow, white head. No nose to speak of. Does have a crisp, clean taste, what there is of it. Would be a good lawnmower beer on a hot day.

This beer was ok. Was purchased at safe way about 3 years ago. I believe the new select took its place

For all my love of cheap American beers, I tend to avoid the the ones marketed as light and really tend to avoid ones marketed as low carb. I believe this is only my second ultra-light I’ve tried after Michelob Ultra and it confirms my suspicion that all these beers basically suck. The one characteristic this carries over from the original Budweiser is a bit of apple-like character. In Budweiser, it’s not bad but here it’s the only thing going on, giving this the character of green apple flavored bottled water. It is not some sort of abomination unto man like some people would have you believe and probably if it said something different on the label it’d be rated over 2.0 by most people here but I am not going to complain about that. I am also never going to drink this again.

Golden with a white head when poured. Very smooth with no after taste. By far my favorite beer to chill and drink with.

I was pleasantly surprised by this beer and generally speaking all my friends felt the same way. It wouldn’t be my beer of choice but it certainly did the trick. Its perfect for a cheap easy beer while prepartying in a parking lot before a concert.

Yet another 12oz longneck sampled at Cowboy’s Dance Hall in San Antonio, TX. Why is this and Bud Light made? They both seem like the same yellow, lightly sweet, fizzy bottles of very little. Why is this "select"?
