Typical generic beer from the King of Beers. Bland but clean; little character.

i enjoy budweiser select much more than bud light or regular budweiser, not that that really means anything, but it is still a last resort for me on tap.

All my thoughts about this beer came through when i finally bought it. the color was decent, foamy head, and very little aftertaste, so i can drink more of it. the one downfall, however, is that it must be very cold when you drink it, otherwise you get that nasty metal taste. oh yeah, and i wish they put more alcohol in it. other than those 2 things, it’s a decent beer. For 11.88/case plus tax and deposit, a beer worth drinking, in my book.

Am I drinking beer, or alka seltzer?? It can’t be alka seltzer, because my stomach is even MORE upset after injesting this paler than Casper, tasteless swill. $15.00 US for a case is a rip off. Budweiser asks me to "Select"?? I choose the toilet in which to dump it. Many apologies to my sewer system.

Not bad beer, a little overrated. I think its much much better out of the bottle. I drank 2x4, and it was terrible.

Bud Select is a light beer, with a very light taste. In fact, there isn’t much flavor or aroma at all. Crispness is ok, but not much else to mention.

Served in 12oz chilled bottle straight from fridge at home. Ice cold.
Aroma: Extremely skunky. Very pungeant. Go into a cow barn and you’ll get a sense of what this smells like. Appearance: Looked like a decrepit elderly on a deathbed. Deathly hazy pale. Taste: Very light, not much of anything but a glimpse of corny, strawy, skunky tasting malt. Palate: Drank like a cheap beer. Very light and stick with moderate carbonation. Notes: Not impressed by this cheap beer attempting to fill the gap between Bud Light and Budweiser. Excessive skunkiness made drinking this one unplesant, and there are better choices at the local supermarket. I would take a MGD over this any day. Gave the rest to a neighbor, but hey, I’ve had worse.

Bud Select is a favorite of mine. I enjoy its crips clean taste and the light pale color suits its purpose. It pours with a clean white head, and provides a refreshing taste for the pallette on a warm sunny day.

Clearly the best of the "big box" factory low carb/lite beers. Above average flavor if served ice cold. Not a serious beer and certainly not a beer you’d "brag" about in a taste comparison, but throughly competent for what it is -- a big volume, mass produced lite beer.
