merlin48 (352), New Tazewell, Tennessee, USA Jan 2, 2008 12 oz bottle pours a very pale yellow body with a tiny white head that quickly disappears without lacing. Essentially no aroma here, but corn adjuncts are noted as it warms. Crisp carbonation tries to enliven the light body. Taste is weak, akin to tonic water. Maybe some light grain noted. Creamed corn notes appear as it warms. Very disappointing.
TKA300 (16), , Illinois, USA Oct 10, 2008 This beer is great!... if you want to drink an entire twelve pack. Typical watery taste. Typical lack of aroma. Pale color, but like I said, if you want a lot of beer at once, go with it. cb23 (79), St. louis, Missouri, USA Oct 2, 2008 This is a great beer to drink a lot of when watching some football. Other than that it is an american pale lager and there about all the same. POD (195), USA Oct 2, 2008 Bottles. Drank these at a euchre party. Typical Budweiser look and taste. I drank them cold. They quenched my thirst. It was better than the boxed wine that was served at the same party. Pass on this one. cloudstrife (32), Rochester, New York, USA Sep 28, 2008 12 oz can poured into glass. PIss gold in color with a thin head that disappeared quickly. Smell of malt and alcohol. The flavor is very similar to the other bud ales however it ends much more crisp. Shouldn’t be as expensive as how much Anheuser-Busch charges for this product. Also wish they had not lowered the alcohol from regular Budweiser as much as they did. Oh well though, thats what you get for 99 calories. weaselkenievil (390), Cheshire, England Sep 21, 2008 Thought it was nicer than normal bud and nicer than quite a few pale lagers I’ve had this year. Think a 1% overall is a little harsh. Still a bit rubbish though. Better than bud and bud light but thats like saying a smack in the mouth is better than a smack in the knackers.
