1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Aroma of corn and straw. Tastes like wheat and nothing else. I am not sure how this gets called "The King of Beers" when it’s one of the worst commercially available beers anywhere. Watery and flavorless.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Good looking 0,33 l bottle. Pours very pale and watery in the glass. Nice but short living head. Weak nose. Starts very thin, light citrus, hints of malt. Typical for a rice beer. Later cardboard with low bitterness. Drinkable but not an enjoyment.

568ml can from Scotmid. Drop the ABV then increase the serving size? That’s accountancy! 4.8%, must be another UK variation, as global brewers seem to think UK consumers don’t care or won’t taste the difference. In this case, mind you, they are right. I would be more than happy for this never to pass my lips again. Pale, wassy, nasty aftertaste. Yuck.

I prefer Bud light, but this will also do the trick of you want to get drunk with friends.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured from 12 oz can into schooner glass
Appearance: pours a 2" white head that rapidly recedes with a bit of lacing. Pale straw in color with moderate streaming carbonation.
Aroma: very mild, a bit of corn, a little yeasty bread.
Mouthfeel: light and watery with a very dry finish. Slightly oily mouthfeel.
Flavor: Pick up a bit of biscuit, corn sweetness, maybe a slight hop bitterness in the finish.
Overall: While not outstanding and certainly not the "king" in my opinion, I didn’t find it offensive either.

0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
1 beer only to be courteous to a host. 2 beers instant headache. I can get away with Bud Light, but this stuff should be sponsored by Immatrex

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
16 oz bottle served in a pint glass.
Pours with a somewhat fizzy white head, excellent clarity, and plenty of visible carbonation. Light watery body, very mild bready-hoppy aroma, decent lager flavor but too little of it and more rice than I prefer.

Budwieser. Diesel. Classic American beer. Does anyone else wonder why bud light commercials are comedic and budwieser commercials are serious (serious horses)?

OLD NOTES DEC 10, 2004
I’ve was warned not to try this beer from many MANY sources, but I just couldn’t help myself. I was a fool not to listen. Smells like swill, tastes like someone had pissed in the bottle and watered it down. I mean it didn’t even look good in my glass with a really chemically looking head and flat looking body. This is certainly one to avoid!
