Niko100 (81), New York, USA Nov 7, 2009 Light straw color; Light to medium body; Aroma and flavor of hops, grain, and some malt; Overall, an average macro lager; considering it’s made to appeal to the masses its ok. McGarnigle (301), Rochester, New York, USA Nov 7, 2009 I borrowed a can from a BCM drinking friend so I could rate this. The can says to drink within 110 days of the born on date, and the BoD is from last December, so ts not fresh. Is this why I can’t taste hops ;). It’s actually a nice looking beer, a bit pale, but clear and with an impressive head (but most people don’t even pour it). Drunk cold, it’s weak brew. Drunk at all warm, the off flavors pop up. In a world filled with light lager drinkers, Bud kind of does deserve its popularity. OntBeerDrinker (17), Ontario, Canada Nov 4, 2009 This shit, taste like dirty tap water with alcohol. I like my water clean and filtered with NO alcohol. Screw this drink. Had it once in a 710ml(24oz can)and in 1.18L 40oz bottle. Was better in bottle over can,but still suck’s 2 me. Elwood (647), Leesburg, Virginia, USA Nov 1, 2009 Serving: 12 oz. can.
Appearance: Pale yellow with a foamy, white head. The head is gone in seconds leaving no lacing behind.
Aroma: Light nose with a bit of corn and grain. Remarkably unremarkable.
Flavor: A bit of grain, corn, and slight bitterness. Overall a bit of a watery mess.
Palate: High, aggressive carbonation that seeks to beat out any flavor you may find. Light mouthfeel and medium-short, bitter finish.
Overall: Not the worst I’ve ever had, but close! fistfull (22), USA Oct 31, 2009 Let’s face it - this ain’t the best, BUT,this is the only beer I drink when I am eating Maryland steamed crabs. For all of you who have never tried crabs the way we make them here in Maryland, you’re totally missing the boat! Speaking of boats, we go out on the water to catch our own, steam them ourselves and enjoy! There is something about the bitter Budweiser that just marries so well with crabs! blackbock (34), Australia Oct 31, 2009 (can) Very pale adjunct lager. Flavourwise I didn’t mind it, not really anything to dislike. Unfortunately the wateriness and just the image of drinking this US megalager just didn’t go down well with me. Everyone should try this though. bsp77 (191), Minnesota, USA Oct 29, 2009 Poured from bottle into clear plastic cup (on the golf course).
Pale yellow, minimal head, but very, very active. Why do so many Adjunct Lagers look kind of like piss; true Pilsners don’t.
Light grain and light hops; fairly faint smell.
Crisp and clean. Relatively dry malt and light (but fairly nice) hop balance, especially at the end. Not as sweet or corn-like as other Adjunct Lagers.
Fizzy, fizzy, fizzy. Way too overcarbonated. Light to medium body.
Refreshing and easy to slam, but would rather have so many other beers.
ZipferKiwi (8), New Zealand does not count Oct 29, 2009 usual beer - if you dont know whats good then get this and start from there, taste like nothing but you will get the hang of it
