Actually I haven’t had this for Ages, but I did have quite a few of them in my youth. I remember once actually getting some beechwood in the bottle. Or am I dreaming that? Haha, I think it really happened. You all know how it tastes, so I’ll spare you the details.

Can at the Rogers Centre. Pours a clear yellow gold with modest white head - doesn’t look good but not totally brutal. Sadly that’s as good as it gets. What little aroma there is is light grains. Thin grainy taste. Ultra watery. It’s hard to even call this a beer it’s so thin and watery.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2010 25cl bottle poured into glass. Wow, can it get any worse than this?!!??? The bottle I tasted was brewed under supervision of Budweiser by S.A. Damm in Spain. The bottled poured a very thin, yellow liquid reminiscent of urine. The head was there but disappeared right after I had poured the contents of the bottle in my glass (yes, the glass I used was clean). What I was left with, was a glass of carbonated, urine-like liquid. I did detect the smell of adjuncts right away, where other large corporate breweries use maize (corn), the brewers at Budweiser resort to an even cheaper ingredient; rice. After three sips, I decided to dump the rest down the drain... Folks, this ain’t no beer....this is horrendous stuff best left to go bad on the shelves of your liquor store or supermarket.

There’s nothing wrong with Budwesier, ya beer snobs! I’ve had many of the top 50 beers in the world, but when I’m not looking to pay $8/bottle for a world-class brew, I reach for a beer brewed in my home state of Missouri. This is the famous Budweiser beer, and it’s amazingly consistent even though it has fillers and is a bit watery. Extremely pale yellow with a small frothy white head that doesn’t cling or last. Aroma and flavor are faint with a bit of bitterness and twang, little malt presence, but a nice crisp finish and refreshing after a hard day’s work. Budweiser’s not craft beer or even above average, but it’s better than any other major brewer’s American lager, and better than some of the fancier experimental beers out there!

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2011 Clean and watery, with high carbonation. Adjunct flavors and sweetness. I get a little green apple and decent. Bready -like highly processed and bleached white bread.

12oz can. What did I expect?? Watery, no flavor, aluminum taste. Ya, that’s what I got with this beer. Only tried it and rated it because my brother was given a full case of this stuff.

Pours a very pale blonde with bright white head that fades quickly. Corn and malt aromas. Initial waterry sweet aroma which fades to a rice/corn finish, almost no hop flavors. Really watery.

12 oz. can from my roommate (gee, thanks). Pours a pale yellow with a frothy head that dissipates almost immediately. I smells slightly of hops, with a little bread. The taste is mostly bitter, with a little sweetness that doesn’t balance it out. The body is thin and watery. I can see why this beer is popular. It’s nothing special, but it’s not strong, complex or demanding. Easy drinking and little flavor.
