The King of Beers? Hardly, but the king of marketing keeps this less than palatable stuff in bars and supermarkets from here to Timbuktu. Little taste to speak of, no body and a less than appealing finish. It is a very democratic beer, though--everyone can enjoy its mediocrity the world over.

My first taste of beer was a Budweiser. I still feel the same way about it. It’s not the worst beer in the world, but why drink it when there are so many better ones out there? It’s smooth enough, not skunky, but the taste is too watery and weak for me. My mouth tastes sour and dried out after 30 minutes or so. It’s American beer for the masses, but it’s not for me.

Personally, I think original bud is one of the best american beers.

Nothing like some FGP’s to keep the CO2 in the beer.

Seeing as Gusler threw a new rating in, I thought I would too. Is this the worst beer in the world? No. It is what it is. A straight-forward, easy drinking beer. Does it have much in terms of taste? No. But it isn’t awful either. I have never tasted a skunky Bud. It is about as clean as you can get. It tends to leave a very dry mouth in the finish, but it doesn’t gag you. I don’t understand how it is the best selling beer in the world though, but who would’ve thought its Light brother would be #1 in the U.S. Its easy to pile on because its so big everywhere.

The beer after its pour from the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in the glass an unclouded light yellow with the head modest in size, frothy in texture and the color a bright white as it dissolves quite quickly the lace a thin sheet. Nose is malt and clean, fresh with the start lightly sweet with fair to middling rice profile, the top skeletal in feel. Finish is stern in its acidity, the hops apropos to the style, dry aftertaste, it is what it is a “mass produced beer”, and at one time many years ago, it was my beer of choice.

Another example of Anheuser Busch screwing up another beer. Truly awful taste, too watery, and I would rather drink milwaukee’s best than this, Why this is considered the king of american beers makes me sick to my stomach.

Watery, but a decent beer. I prefer Bud Light by a long shot, but this isn’t bad.
