COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed and sold since 1876, "The King of Beers" is the largest-selling beer in the world. Budweiser has been the world’s best-selling beer since 1957, and is distributed in more than 70 countries. Budweiser leads the U.S. Premium beer category, outselling all other domestic premium beers combined. In fact, one in almost every five beers sold in the United States today is a Budweiser.
"We know of no brand produced by any other brewer which costs so much to brew and age. Our exclusive Beechwood Aging produces a taste, a smoothness and a drinkability you will find in no other beer at any price."
"Brewed with 100% natural ingredients. We use only the finest hops, barley malt, rice, yeast and water. We craft and age Budweiser using time-honoured brewing methods."

The best thing about Bud is that is available EVERYWHERE, usually cheap, and always cold. Consistently mediocre but I can drink/guzzle a lot of Buds without too much of a hangover. Strangely, the Bud brewed under license in Canada is even more disgusting (well, to me at least).

KING OF BEERS Yeah, it’s not too shabby, but it’s not great by any stretch of the imagination. I have a soft spot in my heart for this guy though.

Words fail me. The King of Beers - more like the King of S**t. Tastes like it was made in a chemical factory, not a brewery. Pale, thin, almost no discernible characteristics other than a nasty metallic sweetrness which I suspect owes its characteristics to flaked maize and rice, not malted barley. Truly ghastly. That this is the World’s best selling beer is a disgrace; drunk by redneck trailer trash and British chavs.

A fresh can in Slovenia. Pours yellow with a creamy head. Stood up very well against local pilsners.

I grew up sneaking Carling Black Label, Schlitz and Miller High Life from my dad’s cooler, so when I tried Bud the first time, I thought it was the best beer I’d ever had.... until it got warm, then it made me gag. Years later, while attending Oktoberfest in Munich for the first time (and seeing the light), I asked some of the locals, which American beers they liked and all of them said "BUDWEISER" in unison. I was flabbergasted.

The appearence is very pale, and the head is white but slightly thin. The smell is of malt and barley. There is also a slight hop smell in the background. The taste is crip, with a bit of a corn & rice flavor. A very light hop taste does try to poke it way into your taste buds but is slight at best. I always look to this beer as the old standard. It is my first ecperience ever with beer and is always a beer that i will go to from time to time. Hopefully it will never change.

40 ounce bottle. Clear yellow body, with white head. Smells like corn. Dry finish with what seems to be hop extract. Not a good beer by any means, but definitely better than light.

I’ve tasted a lot of microbrews that cost a lot more and taste just like this, but this is cheaper...plus it reminds me of childhood summer days at the lake, sneaking these out of our fathers’ big metal coolers...we figured they would not miss 1 or 2 but we always drank more. They tasted so good because one of the other fathers had a beer called Pearl Light; and we always had to end up drinking those, because I think the adults would drink the Bud first too. Even to beer neophytes like we were, we knew that Pearl Light was bad bad stuff. So don’t denigrate Bud, I tell you!
