Golden pale, lot of carbonation, no aroma at all, bitter metallic flavor. The only good thing about this beer is that it has a good head retention. In Ecuador we have only crappy beer, and some months ago the biggest beer duopoly decided to produce Budweiser and Miller...excellent choices.....

Transparent white/yellow appearance obstructed only by a significant amount of bubbles. Stunted aroma consisting of malt, grain, and a wee bit of honey. Some metallic notes as well. Thin, watery, and light. Initial tingly carbonation sensation is immediately enveloped by a mildly sweet grain taste, finishing with absolutely no hops and a rather dreadful lingering cardboard/corn taste. The King of Beers indeed.

Hmmm, is it good or bad that I have not rated this one yet? Or is it worse that for a night cap, all the store at my hotel had was a 6 pack of this? Or is it even worse that I bought it? Hmmm ...

What can be said about such an empty tasting beer? At least it was so cold you couldn’t taste quite how bad it was.

Over the last few years in the UK, respect for beer has increased exponentially. Even somewhere like a bad bar / nightclub / hotel / student union etc, will usually stock one or two drinkable bottles at a bare minimum. So it seemed almost an affront, when I found myself at a themed nightclub event in Shoreditch of all places, and the only beer available was canned Bud. I don’t think I’ve drunk this beer in at least 10 years. As expected: barely existent malt flavour, no hop character, very thin mouthfeel, little bitterness, little of anything except water and CO2. On the positive side, the extreme wateriness of this beer means that the cardboardy, skunky, metallic nastiness is also much less pronounced than in, for example, its European mass market competition like Stella and Heineken.

Can. Light yellow color. Small-medium white head. Of course, without lacing. In aroma corn, some pear and wood notes. Actually not so bad. And taste: yes it is empty ( some corn, metal notes) with some sweetness. Probably most neutral I had ever try. Crisp. Overall: it is classic macrobrew example. Not better, also not so worser.

Una delle peggiori birre commerciali in circolazione. Una birra che sa di artificiale in tutto, dagli aromi ai sapori

Another watery lager that tasted like water with little bit beer flavor. Unpleasant to drink. Dosen’t even have any aroma at all.

Yes, I’ve had this beer. You could really substitute virtually any macro lager rating here since the differences between the major brands relate more to the label and bottle style and the advertising campaigns than to the beers themselves. It’s clear golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma and flavor of lightly peppery and watery corn flakes.
