Ungstrup (11353), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 2, 2003 A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is slight and sour. And the flavor is sour because of the corn it has been brewed on and it is watery too. Probably the worst beer I've had. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 9, 2002 One has to admire the marketing department at Anheuser-Busch. It is quite an achievement in making so many people this beer is anything special. The truth is that it is almost inseparable from any cheap beer made in Paraguay, Korea, Italy or Zambia. It does have a slight aroma of green apples, a fizzy and bland body, and no bitterness, and is highly unremarkable. Papsoe (10283), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 23, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Pretty much no colour - more grey than golden - head is pretty much absent. Now I know why most people drink it off the bottle - because it looks so disgusting. Beers brewed with rice don’t necessarily have to be horrible, but this one has a weird, sticky and very unpleasant sweetness. No body - no bitterness - no beer? 020401 Oakes (6973), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 25, 2000 Updated: Jun 27, 2005Remarkably pale yellow, even for a macrobrew. Aroma of fusels and light acetaldehyde, plus some rotting vegetables. Ethereal body. Flavour, such as it is being completely overrun by a gross imbalance of water, leans towards wonderbread malts, fusel alcohol. That’s pretty much it. Finish has a fair bit of acidity. It’s not all that well carbonated, quite frankly, so I don’t see this as being carbonic acid. Could be ascorbic acid, a common macrobrew additive. At any rate, it’s just a hint in an otherwise tap watery finish. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 30, 2007 33 cL can. Pours pale yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is grainy, hay and a touch of grass. Flavour vague malty, watery. Finish has very little bitterness. Very bland.
