COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed and sold since 1876, "The King of Beers" is the largest-selling beer in the world. Budweiser has been the world’s best-selling beer since 1957, and is distributed in more than 70 countries. Bottled, Pasteurised. Thin yellow colour with big head. The advertising is greater than the product. Fizzy rice beer with sweet sickly flavour. I've had a few of these and they never get any better.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2009 courtesy of Ric Jackman; labelled Anheuser-Busch B as the use of Budweiser brand is forbidden in Switzerland; brewed by Stag (London) - clear and very pale golden-yellow colour with a firm and persistent bright white foam; light notes of butter and corn (those are getting stronger and quite disgusting while the beer gets warmer); crisp and clean palate? sure, but desperately tasteless; no bitterness and a soft and creamy corny watery bland aftertaste - the brew every beer geek loves to hate and the perfect symbol of what beer should not be; and this beer doesn’t taste better even when offered by a former NHL 5th overall draft pick :-)

Bottle 12 oz. Clear amber color with moderate head that diminished quickly. Small aroma. Light to medium body. Little to no flavor. Little better than cold water with alcohol.

Bottle: Straw golden, lacing bleached head; some citrusy notes in the aroma, cardboard and well hidden traces of malts too; initial citrusy taste, light bitter flavour, slightly fruity (citrusy) finish; extremely light bodied and a bit sticky; not absolutely undrinkable, but pretty watery.................

Beer #9 in my lager marathon. Keg. The UK version manufactured at the old Watneys swill factory in Mortlake. As this was my 9th beer of the night, my drinking pace had slowed considerably, which gave this prdoduct plenty of time to warm up and display its adjunct ridden aroma in all its glory. Otherwise, thin grainy and soft. No finish whatsoever. Awful. Next and last was Grolsch.

In Germany you get this beer under the name "Anheuser Busch Bud". The biggest brewery in the world. Why? In Germany nobody likes beer from the USA because its mostly like water - like this one. Who drinks such a "beer"? This brewery brews as much as all german brewerys together! But they really don’t know how to make a good beer. Armselig.

Yup, I tried it. I’m surprised that I got to be my age and don’t remember ever drinking this before now. Pale golden, white head. Some faint maltiness, no hops. Super thin body. Crappy.

I’ve done it!!! I actually drank the stuff! Got strange looks because I wanted it in a glass - as if it were a real beer! <P> Extremely pale gold, virtually no head. Nose: absoletely none. NONE! Taste: yes. There is really some background malt taste. I HAVE to be honest, there is some taste here, that cannot be obtained from pure water. Fully attenuated rice beer. MF: "light" doesn’t come even close. Ohmygod. Please don’t make me say more.
