1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 DYCSoccer17 (3012) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 6, 2001UPDATED: JAN 17, 2006 Bad Bad beer, with a skunky taste. The only way I can handle this beer is if it’s ice cold, if its any less than cold, it’s absolutely disgusting. Very overhyped redneck beer(4/3/3/2/3/1.5).--- needed Re-rate (1/17/06)----- inscribed with the following ditty: "Hops are the spice of beer. At Budweiser, we use only the finest whole hop flowers available. We hand select many varieties from the world’s best hop-growing radions, including our own farms in Idahol and Bavaria. Selecting and brewing hops this way is more expensive, but it produces the distinctive taste that only belongs to Budweiser". Boy oh boy, this is gonna be one hoppy IPA! This is a 2005 Vintage BTW. Aroma is of vegetables, sour and corn-like. The hops mentioned on the label were not dtected at all in the aroma. Transparent pale yellow color with a false, artifical white head that is quickly dissipating. Grainy, cereal-like with hints of corn and other adjuncts. Harsh in the finish and I still don’t detect any of these hops. Overly and falsely carbonated. Doesn’t Saddam Hussein claim that he’s King of Iraq? I think he has more merit with that declaration than Budweiser does with declaring themselves the King of Beers.

A pure American classic ... not much in way of any exotic or over saturated palate but remarkably consistant.

Gotta love Budweiser heavy. Just a solid beer with a lot flavor. Not bitter or hoppy

Ok. Another regular I'm gonna rate. Heavy for for the style and slightly malty. Just average but would sit on a dock all day and drink it

bright yellow lager. It has a slightly hoppy aroma, but that’s it. it tastes a little bitter in the beginning, but it becomes a little malty. A slightly bitter aftertaste, but not for long.
Helder, geel pils. Het aroma is licht hoppig, maar meer dan dat ook niet. Het smaakt in het begin even bitter, daarna enigszins moutig. De nasmaak is licht bitter, maar dit blijft niet lang hangen...

Slightly grainy, mildly alcoholic soda, there are many beers out there that are worse than this but I do prefer something the brewer has put time into getting right.

From a can after softball. On the positive side - easy drinking, refreshing when cold. Granted, both of these are meant to distract from the lack of flavor - but the flavor isn’t terrible like some megabrews are. It’s corny, but never gets too corny to be repulsive. Who drinks an Imperial Stout after softball anyway?

There, done... now I never have to have another. The fact that this is one of the top selling beers in the world lends credence to my misanthropic leanings. The king of industrial swill (in the western world) is apparently quite sessionable when consumed quickly from the ice cold bottle or can, allowing for no warming whatsoever. The ultimate watery pale lager with no emhpasis on either malt nor hops. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

"We know of no brand produced by any other brewer which costs so much to brew and age. Our exclusive Beechwood Aging produces a taste, a smoothness and a drinkability you will find in no other beer at any price."

I loved this beer in high school and the beginning of college. It’s nice on a hot day on the golf course when you don’t have any other choice. Makes me pee a lot.

Nothing quite like a can of corn water after a race.... As far as beer is concerned, the king is dead, long live the king.
