COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed and sold since 1876, "The King of Beers" is the largest-selling beer in the world. Budweiser has been the world’s best-selling beer since 1957, and is distributed in more than 70 countries. UPDATED: JAN 17, 2006 Bad Bad beer, with a skunky taste. The only way I can handle this beer is if it’s ice cold, if its any less than cold, it’s absolutely disgusting. Very overhyped redneck beer(4/3/3/2/3/1.5).--- needed Re-rate (1/17/06)----- inscribed with the following ditty: "Hops are the spice of beer. At Budweiser, we use only the finest whole hop flowers available. We hand select many varieties from the world’s best hop-growing radions, including our own farms in Idahol and Bavaria. Selecting and brewing hops this way is more expensive, but it produces the distinctive taste that only belongs to Budweiser". Boy oh boy, this is gonna be one hoppy IPA! This is a 2005 Vintage BTW. Aroma is of vegetables, sour and corn-like. The hops mentioned on the label were not dtected at all in the aroma. Transparent pale yellow color with a false, artifical white head that is quickly dissipating. Grainy, cereal-like with hints of corn and other adjuncts. Harsh in the finish and I still don’t detect any of these hops. Overly and falsely carbonated. Doesn’t Saddam Hussein claim that he’s King of Iraq? I think he has more merit with that declaration than Budweiser does with declaring themselves the King of Beers.

Not good, but some people might like it. People are strange, but good for them. Is cheap and easy to find.

This stuff is probably made out of bourbon barrel aged puke. This beer is awful.

Reading the commercial description one might think that Ninkasi the Sumerian beer goddess came to earth and made a miraculous beer. I fail to see any plausible reason to buy it in Europe considering the price\ quality relationship. Just a basic corn and rice mash.

25 oz can (1 extra ounce!), for BJCP study group, 4 oz pour into sample glass

Aroma: corn-like, slight spicy hop, green apples

Appearance: Pale Straw, slightly more yellow than Bud Light, none persistent white head, crystal clear

Flavor: dry, crisp, corn flavor, sweet with very low bitterness, slight DMS within guidelines

Mouthfeel: Very light, less watery than Bud Light, slight carbonic bite

Overall: Slightly better than Bud Light, doesn’t taste as watery and has a tad more body and tast.

Weak aroma of malt, and yeast. Pale yellow with a white well laced head. Moderately carbonated with a light body. Subdued taste of malt, with a sweet malt finish.
