UPDATED: JAN 17, 2006 Bad Bad beer, with a skunky taste. The only way I can handle this beer is if it’s ice cold, if its any less than cold, it’s absolutely disgusting. Very overhyped redneck beer(4/3/3/2/3/1.5).--- needed Re-rate (1/17/06)----- inscribed with the following ditty: "Hops are the spice of beer. At Budweiser, we use only the finest whole hop flowers available. We hand select many varieties from the world’s best hop-growing radions, including our own farms in Idahol and Bavaria. Selecting and brewing hops this way is more expensive, but it produces the distinctive taste that only belongs to Budweiser". Boy oh boy, this is gonna be one hoppy IPA! This is a 2005 Vintage BTW. Aroma is of vegetables, sour and corn-like. The hops mentioned on the label were not dtected at all in the aroma. Transparent pale yellow color with a false, artifical white head that is quickly dissipating. Grainy, cereal-like with hints of corn and other adjuncts. Harsh in the finish and I still don’t detect any of these hops. Overly and falsely carbonated. Doesn’t Saddam Hussein claim that he’s King of Iraq? I think he has more merit with that declaration than Budweiser does with declaring themselves the King of Beers.

Drank straight from the bottle at the Bansdale darts tournament - a night when I should have taken more beer. Instead I had to resort to drinking this. Truly an awful beer, even for a lager. The taste is fizzy water with some vague and unpleasant flavours of grain, straw and metal. Dire.

Sem aroma e sem sabor, somente para refrescar e ser bebida em quantidade pois não lembra em nada boas cervejas

Very watery with not much taste. It is my least favorite beer out of the American lagers.

If you imagine this is a light champagne, it actually looks quite pretty, with its faint yellow hue and tight carbonation. Then you remember that it’s supposed to be beer, even though it tastes like little more than seltzer with unpleasant flavoring added. The old package used to be the best thing about the beer, but they updated it to something uninspired, boring, and charmless.

It is not a cliche if the beer taste good. It might not be the politically correct beer but Bud simply taste good.

This is an average lager with a dense white, but rapidly diminishing foam. The aroma is limited to the hops. The flavor has a light malty character, rapidly changing to a hoppy bitterness. Quite a good average lager after all. The brewery itself calls this beer the ’King of Beers’ which in my view is a strong exaggeration. But taste is of course different.
