Growing up in St. Louis, you do get numb to drinking Budweiser. Is is a good beer? No way if you are used to craft beers. Is it the worst beer? After all the mass marketing, many say yes after getting bombarded by the infinite # of commercials, ads, etc. from Anheuser-Busch. I am experienced enough to gone through worse beers (old Falstaff made in St. Louis, Hamms, Coors Light or Busch Light to name a few infamous ones). If a craft brewer would make a beechwood aged Lager, it could rate as a decent beer with tweaking the recipe. With the use of rice, lack of hops and the barest hint of the beechwood, the lack of overall aroma/appearance and flavor makes this beer barely decent (my St. Louis bias probably kept the rating a few tenths of a point higher). Add the excessive mass marketing, however, and you can get enough lemmings to drink anything.

Het bier van Amerika, fletse smaak en weinig schuimkraag. De kleur zit wel goed.

Clear golden appearance with good carbonation. Beer smooth, fresh and easy going down. Afterwork beer, a staple.

Pretty much exactly what we expect of a boring American lager: easy, simple taste, no complexity, balanced. Good for a summer of yardwork and easy women

A beer that manages to be virtually flavourless and at the same time deeply unpleasant. Beechwood aged for a matter of minutes, with entire forests cultivated to feed this utterly futile process. I will hopefully never taste this beer again.

An excellent "last request" beer if one found oneself condemned (in that execution would be a relief). Otherwise abysmal.

If life gives you Budweiser, you say thanks and give it a try because hey, itís not every day a 0 pt beer ends up on your table. 473 ml can ("proud partner of the Toronto Blue Jays"). It pours a very pale straw colour, itís clear with a rather good white head that drops fast and leaves no lace. The nose is very grainy with a sweet undertone, and, well, not much else. Perhaps a bit of a honey-like note. The taste is surprisingly bitter, but itís a shallow hop extract kind of bitterness. Malty sweet... Dry on the palate with rather aggressive carbonation. Hollow... Itís pretty bad, but I feared worse. Overall Iíd say itís not as horrific as some other pale lagers Iíve had.

Brazilian version brewed by Anbev. Light colored, pleasant sweet after taste. 5% alcohol, more than adequate for a tropical climate area.

Bottle from Seoul Plaza. Sweetish corny aroma, DMS. Clear pale yellow colour, white head, quickly disappearing. Taste sweetish, syrupy, with a hint of DMS, but otherwise pretty clean, even kind of enjoyable. Thin watery body and overall impression as well, nothing special, but also not bad. Average.

Clear yellow real clear but weird light yellow. Why it gets decent appearance rating. Very carbonated like some water. No aroma no flavor.
