Brewed and sold since 1876, "The King of Beers" is the largest-selling beer in the world. Budweiser has been the world’s best-selling beer since 1957, and is distributed in more than 70 countries. Budweiser leads the U.S. Premium beer category, outselling all other domestic premium beers combined. In fact, one in almost every five beers sold in the United States today is a Budweiser.
"We know of no brand produced by any other brewer which costs so much to brew and age. Our exclusive Beechwood Aging produces a taste, a smoothness and a drinkability you will find in no other beer at any price."
"Brewed with 100% natural ingredients. We use only the finest hops, barley malt, rice, yeast and water. We craft and age Budweiser using time-honoured brewing methods."

Growing up in St. Louis, you do get numb to drinking Budweiser. Is is a good beer? No way if you are used to craft beers. Is it the worst beer? After all the mass marketing, many say yes after getting bombarded by the infinite # of commercials, ads, etc. from Anheuser-Busch. I am experienced enough to gone through worse beers (old Falstaff made in St. Louis, Hamms, Coors Light or Busch Light to name a few infamous ones). If a craft brewer would make a beechwood aged Lager, it could rate as a decent beer with tweaking the recipe. With the use of rice, lack of hops and the barest hint of the beechwood, the lack of overall aroma/appearance and flavor makes this beer barely decent (my St. Louis bias probably kept the rating a few tenths of a point higher). Add the excessive mass marketing, however, and you can get enough lemmings to drink anything.

"Golden suds" says the commercial. The golden suds I make in the bathroom smell and look a lot better than this stuff.

The one word to best describe this beer is minimal. Body is extremely watery and flat. Couldn’t find any aroma. Minimal flavor, ever so slight sweetness and no bitterness. Overall extremely boring.

Bottle at home from the super market. This is the UK versions at 4.8%. Bright clear yellow coloured pour with a fading white frothy head. Aroma is fairly clean sweet grains, little corn, little green apple, little sweet on the nose. Flavour is compsoed of sweet light malts, corn, sweet corn, carbonaic acid, gassy. A little too sweet, could be crisper in the finish. Palate is very light and gassy, thin, semi-sweet. Drinks ok.

lots of water, rice, sugar, too much carbonation and maybe a touch of hops. Bleh Rice instead of corn, but the same water-like lightly metallic taste. Light sweetness. A bit better than Miller/Corona as there is well bad metallic taste but it’s still ehh.

Do I really need to say much about this beer? It’s a Mass produced American light lager.

Dorée pale claire, peu goûteuse et plutôt aqueuse, rien d’intéressant sans être foncièrement mauvaise. Bue à la pression au Barclay center, New York, États Unis, le 01/05/2015.

355 ml can. Golden color with dizzy white head. Grass smell and a little sweet. Taste is flat and boring, waterish has well. Not nice aftertaste, quite fake and industrial.
