UPDATED: JAN 26, 2015 Light yellow, almost transparent, pour. A flash of a white head. Nose is grain. Neither really sweet nor bitter. Middle is little hard fruit, grain. Finish is a little dry, more from carbonation than hop presence. Not much else to say.

0,33l Flasche. Hellgelbes Bier? Wo ist der Schaum? Leichtes Aroma nach Malz, das war alles was evtl. an Bier erinnern könne. Ich hatte das Gefühl ich trinke ein Glas Wasser. Unterirdisch!

Decided to take this beer for a test. A dull and watery beer, lacks body or flavour and does not live up to it’s slogan ’king of beers’.

The color is extremely light and transparent. The aroma is not overly complicated. The taste is disappointing. Rice with a corn sweetness and a sticky consistency. The finish is soap with a mild bitterness. The carbonation is strong.

After drinking so many beers, I thought that I should give this beer a go. Been seeing it mentioned everywhere and it seems popular, so it can’t really be bad... right? It’s pretty much like drinking water with a slight taste of corn to it. Why would you even feel like drinking this all the time... Water is cheaper and easier to obtain.

Bottle from Waitrose. Golden Yellow, with one finger white head. High carbonation. Malty aroma, cardboard. Cardboard on the taste. Add a bit of corn, and a touch of dryness. Very watery.

Well, I decided after years of some of the most amazing beers and ales in the world, I’d give Budweiser a whirl just to see what I’m not missing! Colour...very pale yellow with no head. Nose...I think all I smell is my nose, but with a very faint smidgen of something hop like nearby. Palate...for a very brief moment, there was something slightly like honey and cut grass and then POOF; gone! Lightly fizzy hard water follows and a titch of salt. This is not really an offensive beer product substitute, it’s just quite meh. I hear that the unfiltered Bud actually has a bit more in terms of flavour.
