BruceLeroy (68), North Dakota, USA May 27, 2002 Updated: May 1, 2004 Probably the best super-cheap American macrobrew in my opinion. On a hot day in July it's actually enjoyable, especially in ponies. I'm enjoying a tall right now. Bud-Light however is not as good. And why the hell are we supposed to think that beachwood tastes good? What the hell is beachwood anyways?
BlockBrew (48), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Jul 5, 2008 One of the only beers I’ve opened and have not been able to finish it. I can usually grind through a bad brew, but this pushed my limits and I failed. JonR888710 (980), Cochabamba, Bolivia Jul 3, 2008 Pours a brassy, darker color gold with a fizzily white head. Aroma is dry hops, hay, corn and slight wet dog. Taste is also like chewing straw with a wet dog in the rain. Hops are a tad metallic, brushing and bittering the palate. This is America’s beer.
subcell (94), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA Jun 30, 2008 This is not a Budweiser beer! This is crap. Stick with a European brew. I really have no idea what AB was thinking when they named this beer. elihapa (168), Hawaii, USA Jun 29, 2008 From bottle. Taste is of sugar, bread, and rice. You know, I’ll admit that back in the day I actually used to kinna like this stuff. These days, this brew tastes like pure calories and starch to me. Well, could be a bit of sourness in there as well.
chicagodri (395), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jun 29, 2008 Once again at a Cubs game...and it was the choice between Bud Light and Budweiser. Except, they were out of Bud Light. So while drinking water I might as well have more calories. Yeah, it is a macro, what else can I say.
