There’s a reason Bud is the King of Beers. Now, there’s no comparison to good microbrews or premium beers, but as far as mass produced relatively cheap beers go, it’s actually quite good. Looks like beer, tastes like beer, enjoyable, but no wow factor.

Rather sweet aroma. Mild malt and hops. Some citrus like a belgian tripel. Pale gold hue with zero head. Sweet malt flavours, rather watery but has that peculiar taste sort of like vegetables - Maybe that’s the rice? Very sweet yet watery. A tad of malt in the finish. Easy to drink. Rather shit.

I drank this in high school before I discovered good beer. Their lawsuit against Budvar is enough reason to never drink this again.

Bottle at Cafe de Zeepost in Amsterdam. This is a fairly bad beer. I have drank it quite a few times in college and now paid up for ratebeer purposes and was laughed at by my friends. There is little taste, but definitely soap.

#1700 16 oz. Tall Boy from the Circle K in lovely downtown Benson, AZ - Thats right boys and girls. Its time to rate one of the worst beers brewed in the good ole USA. I still cant believe millions of people think this is the greatest beer around. Just goes to prove if you have a good marketing campaign, you can sell anything to the mindless and tasteless masses. This beer is my least favorite A-B product. I wont bore anyone with my description of this beer. Its not pretty. The only reason Im rating this beer is to keep in step with rating BMC beers for milestones. If I stepped on any toes, too bad. You need to get a life and drink real beer.

24oz can as part of my Crappy Christmas solo tasting. I know it is the season of giving, but I would give crap like this to others... I am glad that the label tells be they use only the choicest rice...Straight pour. Pale yellow. Fizzy head that goes. Rice, slight burn because there is nothing covering the alcohol. A bit of selzter. Taste is all corn and rice water with a bit of cardboard, diacetyl, and DMS. A touch of cardboard. No skunk though. Fizzy.
